  • And they still use microphone with cable ?!?!?!

  • how is japan cooler than america comeon american scientist u can do it

  • and this is why Japan is beating us

  • i want one.

  • It's nothing more than a fancy auto wheelchair

  • not fast enough lets see that again but this time 120mph

  • it only costs one billion yen (cue Dr. Evil Laughter)

  • it is protos!!!

  • reminds me of battlezone 2

  • Tron is here

  • make it fully enclosed, strap a minigun and rocket launcher on the side, and your ready for the zombie apocalypse lol

  • @revfan54 Only Americans would think that way.

  • @SpankAgoose and damn proud of it

  • fuck that, wheres my gundam

  • Why does Japan always get the good stuff?

  • So it go's from stroller to hoverround in 5 sec.

  • it...it looks like one of those chairs the fat people on Wall-E uses....WTF!

  • that's not a robot, that's a kick ass chair.

  • @fireguy770 Estoy de acuerdo contigo, pero es una máquina interesante / I'm agree with you, but is an interesting machine

  • It's perfect design!Modern and very nice!

  • @Fighter7ful except, not practical in any way, other than parallel parking.

  • this looks like a future perm-machine!

  • lazy boy 5000

  • nice detail - it has plenty of room to grow your fat ass and belly when you begin to become a mutant

  • congrats to toyota on inventing the wheelchair

  • the prius's cousin

  • Dear santa...

  • guys dont be brain washed, look closely, without trying to be clever here that is an electric wheelchair fitted with hydralics and fancy lights. Frankly an affence to call it an 'advancement'.

  • I want one

  • Robot baby stroller, cause China/Japan is so over populated, parents dont have time to take care of all their kids and work.

  • shiny

  • and what is the point in that? robots are only supposed to make difficult things easy not easy things easy, everyone is trying to make the best robot taht can take you 3ft or get the news paper for you etc but we are making the human race so much fatter and lazier

  • need leopard skin with dingo balls maaann..it's leeeopaaaard

  • too bad it looks stupid.

  • if they made this thing so it could go 50mph then it would be such an inovative design for a all perpous wheelchair, put it down low n drive 2 where u wanna go then when u get there put it upright n u can talk 2 people at eye level instead of allways looking up at them from a more traditional wheelchair

i think this design could be a real breakthrough for disabled people!

  • @StevoE26 I was in a restaurant with my friend (she's 80% chairbound) few weeks back.

There was a woman who did actually have a chair that could move up and down like a lift, so it is out there.

unfortunately, My friend can never get one it seems. because she's stuck with her old falling apart one, just because the Joystick needs to be on her lap, not on the armrest, and they won't make custom designed any more..

Once it packs up she's in the manual :'(

Means I'll have to push lol j/k

  • is that 4stroke?

  • nice concept

  • More fancy kids toys form Japan.

  • ohh looks nice lights

  • Yay, now driving a car just became retarded!

  • damn.....wal-e was right l:

  • STALKER!!!!!

  • The Terminator T800 comes from japan xD

  • We've finally done it! We've finally made a wheelchair that can climb stairs!!!

  • First it will be used mostly for handicapped people. Then the four wheels will be changed into mechanical legs to be more mobile.(STAR) Then it will have to fully encapsulate the person inside so they do not fall out. (CRAFT) This is the beginning shape of a Protoss Dragoon.

  • What's the purpose of this thing? Making people even more lazy?

  • @Fapsamup yeah, even also if you think this worth such cheap deserving for the lazies who can't atleast work? how do they'll get their money for these?

    think faggot.

  • @asakaolol Idiot.

  • @Fapsamup Fuck you, go die. Show me your ass and i'll kill you

  • @asakaolol Haha, lol, angry little prick!

  • @Fapsamup eh? you're the one little prick, believe me I can do what i said.

  • Wtf is the point of that? We have these already; they're called motorized wheelchairs.

  • a fat persons dream

  • Whats wrong with just getting off yo ass and walking? Lol :)

  • I want one.... :)

  • that robot is recommended for americans cuz their FAT!!! lol

  • its basically a golf cart that has hydraulic axels. yawn*

  • It's the newest way for old and fat people who can't walk to get around!

  • I don't think I see a lazy bastard sitting in this thing, unless they just lived in it O_o

add a tv, gaming system, internet access and a toilet then it's all over.

yep u could have someone live in it then... scary thought.

  • i thought this was ment to help people who coldn't walk.

  • Actually the Hal-5 from cyberdyne looks more like something that would do that. This is far to huge just for helping people walk. I mean, unless they would go through the trouble of installing a device that would help the person into a smaller chair for indoor use or something but that seems like to much hassle to me when compared to Hal-5.

  • well um maybe this is a new type of car? lol.

  • i think that makes more sense, i'd buy it if it were only like $500 :D, just take a quick stroll around the city

    Extreme racing!

U can park it in the narrowest of alley's

It will even mow ur lawn!

    It'lls be a hit! lol

  • lol hehe if it that cheap that is :)

  • and that's why it is only a concept haha

  • it moves so elegantly !

  • If this sort of pie-in-the-sky project is what Toyota are spending their money on, no small wonder the cars are having problems with brakes, throttle and steering recalls.

  • looks like a wheel chair

  • whats that seat in the background called

  • just like i say on all the other vids add a glass cockpit and guns

  • chimpokomon is super toy number 1

  • This is a cool wheelchair. I'd like to get one for my grandma.

  • Come say that again when I'll break your legs

  • lol, you're so polite.

  • this is a good invention kid

  • That would be cool if it could travel at highway speeds, but in a more confined area, it could be transformed into its urban mode.

  • I would be an ass hole and drive around a mall saying im robo mall cop

  • @Atonil

"DROP YOUR WEAPON! YOU HAVE FIFTEEN SECONDS TO COMPLY!"

  • WOW grat design! Would be cool make some upgrades and put it to race. Would be like that anime... "Freedom" I think.

  • For lazy bastards and disabled. Looks nice though.

  • I am a lazy bastard! Gimme ONE!

  • so what is the use for this motor-powered wheel chair seriously lol

  • totaly usefull...

  • fat ass transporter

  • and i thought the segway was nerdy. XD

  • my disabled grandmother could do with this. nice 1 japan.. where can i get one from? any one know?

  • Apparently it's just a concept vehicle. No news about when, or even if, it will be available.

  • I saw one of these at the airport in Nagoya, Japan. It was impressive.

  • Great Design++

  • cool for handicaps.

lazy for who have healty legs.

  • true.

  • It reminds me Wall-E Can't we simply walk?

  • that's cool!

  • Comment removed

  • ALL HAIL THE QUEEN LOL

  • Woahahahe ahdhahwhehawhh that is amazing I WANT ONE

  • the new toyota car a wheel chair fantastic

  • does humans really got tired of walking to start inventing such things...

now i can see the future...

    Less muscles... More Fats! XD

  • hahas just like in wall-e

  • perfect for lazy persons! nyahahaha!

I think its not suitable to use in roads yet,..

unless they make a modified one

  • Perfect for modern day's evil masterminds!

    CALL NAOW!!

    (persian cat not included)

  • Clearly this is just a concept. Plus, does this really look like this is meant to be a car that drives on the road? Honestly, use your head, son.

  • where the hell did it say car? plus this looks like it would be a wheel chair

  • its a car.. if its not a car its a vehicle.. if its not a vehicle then iTS TRANSportation

  • Who ever said it was meant for the road? not forms of transportation need to be on the road. And like hayden said, its more like a wheel chair than a road vehicle

  • Hella reminds me of the early Gundams. Just much smaller, has wheels, and no guns.

  • It looks so unstable, especially if it went in 160 mph

  • its a wheelchair for cripples! with flashy lights

  • Dayum, F U T U R I S T I C ! ! ! That would make the people in wheelchairs feeling like they're not handicap.

  • Cool, but I don't see it going into production.

  • that'd make a good electronic wheel chair.

  • ITS THE FUCKING PROTOSS!!!

  • haha that looks so chill ;D

  • TRANSFORMERS HERE WE COME!

  • aliens?

  • They need to get Patrick Stewart to demo this.

  • o_o eggman's new chair

  • uh hello people that thing is a prototype for a car not a robot the upright mode is for parking and for chaining them together to form a train for carpool you can find the thing in older popsci issues srry to burst your bubble

  • seeing how all of the other prototypes of the asimo robot have fallen down stairs, i would not feel very safe inside that thing, imagine what could happen to this prototype.

  • muy simple

  • all hot guys reading this hit me up on MSN Messenger ID jane22fall im bored xD 2

  • asu tiene un estilo a las MAC!!!. muy bueno MIcrosoft se queda atras jajjaa ya quiero uno de esos! uff de aca a cuantos años?

  • WOw man it's very um FUTURE because futuristic is not the word for it anymore.

  • LOL id be pissing myself laughing if i saw this.

  • Wow, a million dollar wheelchair... you're a smart and rich race obviously, so use that for something useful! I want more money to be invested into HAL 5!!!!!

  • the only device that makes you be like the wall-e humans :D

  • IMHO, it is THE machine for someone really want to get more fat...

  • lol wtf?

it loosk like soemthing form halo at :37

  • its a wheelchair from the future.

  • cool but what do you do when it rain's? can they enclose the driver in this for cold winter days?

  • Looks like futuristic wheel chair for invalids :P

  • Hey Hey Hey! Put some carbon fiber panels on it to make it go faster! lol!

  • this is going straight to the local nursing home

  • man they always make these wierd little cars but they never really come out :p they been din that since like 1195

  • i love futuristic technology. its like living in an anime-syle world.

  • the design looks nice (except for the dumb lights on the sides)

but theres nothing special about this thing

  • everything is about presentation. they want it to look like its actually the new futuristic thing. But it isnt. its just a little fancy electric car with some hydrolics on it.

  • Its Basically a Remote stroller with lights lol!

  • useless junk made out of spare parts in your garage. Srsly now any1 with basic electric and mechanic skills can build that crap. The only difference is that this one from toyota has some bling-blings added literally(those blue useless lights) and a nice paintjob.

  • I reckon. Give it to some American grease monkeys and watch em' put brembo brakes and some HIDs on it.

  • япошки конкретно ебнулись)))

  • Concept bike/car

  • Maybe this is meant more for the physically challenged and not those of us that can walk alright? I think people forget there are disabled and also elderly people in this world that could use something other than those heavy motorized wheelchairs.

  • yah, mobility scooters.

  • Who doesn't love riding in baby strollers?

  • looks like a leaf from a ferry tale cartoon

  • they are awesome, id buy one, (if it was less than £10, 000)

  • Or you could just walk instead of looking like a big twat coming out of a sardene can

  • What if you crash the damned thing? it doesn't look pretty safe to me!

  • tries to look futuristic

    i hate it haha

  • I saw that at the 2006 NY auto show. I wouldn't want to drive on the streets in NY with all this huge SUV's, I'd rather drive a 1947 Desoto.

  • @1947Desoto:

If the oil prices keeps climbing parabolic like it does now, there's a chance you not use your Desoto anymore in a few more years.

Or you can't afford it anymore, because 1 gallon would be 200 dollars.

  • True. I'd still like to own one even as a display piece.

  • i saw this in the toyota showroom in japan, didnt think it was an actual working prototype, its soo cool

  • i saw this in the toyota showroom in japan, didnt think it was an actual working prototype, its soo cool

  • But will it blend? That is the question.

  • Nice

  • bahahaha

  • can it fly?

  • la silla de ruedas del futuro

  • Very nice

  • The mainspring of Japan is a creation and a technology.

The Japanese with a rich imagination made all the cultures.

The miniaturization is advanced from the animated cartoon, the

cellular phone, and video games to electrical appliances.

  • Looks like something Urkel would drive.

  • My grandma prefers hers to her old HoverRound.

  • Why are the Japanese so passionate about wild-looking technology? Couldn't they have made it look a bit more contemporary?

  • they're all about cute-looking, and fun looking technology. Something that'll make the teenage girls and little kids go "Dude, let's buy that!"

It's an awesome way to do things. Rather than make everything about destruction and spiky weapons of doom for the kids to dream of owning.

  • NICE

  • The perfect wheelchair!

  • when i went to japan i saw the same thing

  • what does it do?

  • Okay, that's cooler than cooler than cool.

  • thats friggin awesome!!!
