having worked on a reality show i know that the crew is not allowed to interact with the 'talent' and must remain a neutral 'viewer' to document the activity. there are many other people standing behind a camera person who can, and do, seek appropriate parties if no one else is able if there is a life truly at risk. there is a field producer watching off 'set' who calls the shots...if mackenzie hadn't realized what was going on in the next few moments someone would have intervened.

well there really isn't anything the camera crew could do. first they were kidding around of course u at first may think she's joking. as soon as she realized what was happening she ran for the nurse it would have been redundant for the crew to run too and they may have gotten in the way. so they aren't at fault. was it in poor taste to continue filming, is another story

For one thing if you are not a trained professional dont do anything due to possilbility of causing other physical or medical harm to the person having the seizure...2nd there isnt much you can do for a seizure other than give and injection/medication and turn the person on their side to prevent aphyxiation or blockage preventing oxygen from flowing to the brain. So all in all she did the right thing by going to get professional assistance.

There are hundreds of ways that a person can react right before the initial seizure. There are different types of Seizure and really hers was from alcohol withdrawal so they are usually different at times how they start.
