  • Solid list man! I live in California, and we don't get much of a Winter here, so I'm glad someone put out a list like this. I will be sure to check some of these out.

  • @jdizzle15 Thanks so much. Glad you dug it. The as well is a lot of these that I mentioned can be found for very good prices cause they never really got that big.

  • Hey..too bad you are having cold..hope you get wells soon..it is getting freezing cold here in Ottawa...by the way I did some research on AbdelSalam Attar frags..turned out to be an Arabic perfumery based in Italy....fancy bottles on the website but did not try anything yet..

  • @singlecan2 The cold really sucks especially cause we have a long weekend for Lunar New Year.and I'm stuck at home sick. You were able to find more out about Abdel Salam than I could. I will have to go back and check it out. Thanks for that.

  • Thanks for the review. I'm going to try JPG2, and maybe Body Kouros.

  • @surgeyX Those are the two sweetest frags on my list so you do need a sugar tooth for them. They are amazing though.

  • @BetawiBlood

Yeah...Tobacco Vanille and New Harlem are prob the sweetest I've got right now and I love 'em...always looking for new sweets to try. I'll even wear just a dash of Joop somtimes. Thanks again. I subscribed!

  • @surgeyX If you love TV and NH, then these will be right up your alley! Thanks for subbing, buddy. Appreciate it!

  • Hello Christo...you are brilliant as usual... I have an idea..can you give your take on old edition perfumes such as Drakkar noire,Aramis,San Sebastian and Tsar by Van Cleef..tell us what do you think of such perfumes..can they still be modern?..... Thabks

  • @singlecan2 That's a great idea and I have been getting into more mature 'modern classics' for men lately especially the 80s and early 90s powerhouses. I will totally use your idea for a future video. Thanks so much and I hope you don't mind if I borrow your idea.

  • @BetawiBlood It is ok..sure you can use the idea....awaiting your next video..by the way I am Canadian too...

  • @singlecan2 Thanks for the 'ok'. I was hoping to do a bunch of videos this weekend, but I have a really bad cold and can't smell anything and my voice is all weird from my blocked nose... Cool to meet more Canadians in the fragcom. Its pretty impressive how many there are around.

  • Would Jaipur be a good alternative to the niche frag Musc Ravaguer?

  • @coatlicue2012 Its funny you say that cause that was the first thing I thought of when I tried my MR when it came in the mail. There are a lot of similarities between the two, but they are also very different. The masculine cinnamon quality is certainly where I see the connection. It would be a very good alternative if you can pick up a bottle imo

  • I just picked up Midnight in Paris and I love it! Floral but a sense of sophistication. Reminds me of Armani Code because of the tonka but the tea adds more depth and I enjoy the floral notes unlike most people.

  • @subaruguy34 I saw your comment the other day as I happened to be wearing MIP and I looked for the florals and couldn't really pick them up. I haven't tried Code in a long time, but it may be worth looking into again with your comparison.

  • @BetawiBlood The middle is where I pick up most of the florals in this scent. For me this stage lasts about two hours. After that the powder comes back from the opening and adds a smooth creamy dry-down that is mildly sweet while still maintaining it's masculinity.

  • Can you think of a better oriental spicy than Jaipur by Boucheron ? I love that stuff but I don't think many can pull it off !

  • @ThePeacefulSword As my friend TheNautilas said below, Opium from YSL is a pretty amazing oriental spicy that's not overly done these days. Gucci PH 2003 is amazing, but I think its a woody spicy. Maybe Lolita Lempicka Au Maculin if you are into more youthful stuff.

  • Thanks for the great list. I'm gonna search out some Jaipur. You sold me on it

  • @silverpunk2427 Its kind of hard to find, but its definitely around. If you like heavy cinnamon, you will love it. It took me a while to get over the harsh opening, but now that I can, I really dig it.

  • Great List Kris,

with very interesting pick ups!! Def need to check them out.

    Thank you for sharing!

    Cheers!

  • @vmendonc And thank you for watching. There's some good ones in that list that are worth looking into.

  • double black i agree with u its great but it just dosent last> i just tried YSL Opium PH today its superb! after a shower its still there. great list bro...

  • @TheNautilas Opium is a funny one with me cause I really hated it, then really liked it, then really hated it again. I need to just order it and deal with it I think cause I'm sure I will get a lot of use out of it. And yes, it is AMAZINGLY strong.

  • Great video! Body Kouros sounds amazing - I'll have to check this one out.

  • @Peregrine77 Its really interesting stuff. Definitely worth looking into. Only for those that like sweet, resinous frags though.

  • Black XS would have been higher on my list. Great idea bud. Great video.

  • @kirill19902 I had to put it a little lower cause I thought it was pretty popular last year, but a lot of people seemed to forget all about it when 1 Million was released.

  • great video mr.kristo...you sure givenchy pi is really under the radar

  • @abdulhammad1 I've been a huge fan of Pi since around 2001. Its a great, sugary scent. Thank you for watching.

  • absolutely agree with midnight in paris. i got a sample from cubby and fell in love with it. i dont understand how this didnt catch on but its already in the discount sites for cheap. great video always a pleasure.

  • @attuso20 Damn, really? I had no idea it was already hitting the discount sites/shops. I guess that makes it cheaper for those that like it. Thanks very much for watching and the comment!

  • +1 Pi, +1 Body Kouros, +1 Envy. One I would mention that I don't think you like is YSL Rive Gauche. And then two I mentioned in my most recent video Chanel Egoiste and YSL M7.

As for your choice, I thought they were great! Excellent video idea. :)

  • @rhaybans I have to admit I'm not a fan of Rive Gauche, but I can totally see the quality in it. I do really enjoy Egoiste, but I'm still searching for a bottle at a reasonable price. Thanks for watching and I appreciate the input.

  • Here is another reason why I love your channel!!!! Great Video, Kristo :D

  • @DavidMohrison I know I can always count on your support. Glad you liked it.

  • @BetawiBlood Haha, who wouldn't want to support one of the best reviewers!? Keep it up and thanks for sharing :D

  • Just got Body Kouros and gotta say. It's weird. Very very weird.

  • @PrisonerInGlass I really do think its my favourite from the YSL house. There certainly is nothing like it out there.

  • I agree with Jaïpur EDP too, one of my favorites!

  • Kristo...I agree with you about Héritage, very nice fragrance, great top 10 :)

  • @Fejosol Thanks so much. I like Heritage a lot and it grows on me more and more. Nice to know someone elsee appreciates it.

  • @BetawiBlood Thank you!!!

  • Very nice presentation and list. These look like some good ones to check out.

  • @CraigsFrags Thanks, I was hoping to give some awareness to some frags that need it. Try to check some out.

  • My personal favorites would be Costume National 21, Ginestet Botrytis, and D&G By Man.

  • @CanwllCorfe615 I had to look up the Ginestet scent cause I've never heard of it and WOW, that sounds great. I'm definitely going to keep an eye out for that. Great list btw

  • Another great vid.It is starting to get colder in NYC.I love Gucci pour homme ll and i was wondering if i could pull this off during the winter.I'm just loving the tea in it.Thanks Kristo.

  • @ProspectNY11211 I think the cinnamon in it might make it good for the winter. I think GPH II is really versatile, too. Thnaks for watching

  • black xs guilty pleasures made the list sweet I like that one a lot, unique list Kristo bravo

  • @Wiizy23 That was my signature till I discovered Narciso for Him. The funny thing is they are totally opposite frags. I still have a lot of love for Black XS though

  • Also, I had Jaipur Homme EDP but recently had to swap it. Perfect holiday scent with the nutmeg/cinnamon vibe, but I could not wear it without getting a headache. Plus I find it very formal. Strongest frag I've smelled by a long shot. I did take a 5ml decant for myself before I swapled it :-)

  • @MrWarEagle93 That's a great idea and what I've started doing. Every time I sell a bottle, I take a little decant just so I can keep it on file.

  • Never been able to say this, but FIRST!

  • @MrWarEagle93 You got it!
