@randywilliams1234 it hasnt evolved at all,this is still the self defense material and most of the stand up part doesnt work because it violates what makes bjj effective,its never done against resistance.Th material on gracie combatatives is way better than this and was created by rener and ryron.Over 90 % OF BJJ does virtually no self defense anymore,its just for sport,in that sense its devolved ,not evolved
@ralphchargualaf theres a lot there thats pure rubbish regardless of the teacher.Rener and ryron are far better teachers than any other gracie,ive trained several times with quite a few of them,the ones in america anyway.
im a long time trainee of gjj and a big fan of ryron and rener but the standing self defense techs shown here are mostly a joke,its the very early judo self defense techs that maeda taught carlos and were never pressure tested,thats why its crap.
its amazing how much bjj has evolved.
