Might be fun to have a Figaro production where the characters actually seem like they'd be out there snogging in the garden on a hot Spanish summer night, maybe even find a bench for Marzellina and Bartolo to do more than rest their canes on...

Oh it will be great a Figaro with Diana as Susanna and Dasch as Contessa....
I think Diana's voice it's a bit too young for the Contessa role...

Well, I don't know about her voice being too young...the Contessa is only supposed to be in her 20s, according to Beaumarchais. And Nozze only takes place a few years after Barbiere, which Diana has already done. So I think that she is ready for the role, but it would just be very different from the traditional (i.e. Te Kanawa, Fleming) portrayal of the Contessa.
