It's all the same guy. The color picture is what's currently happening while the black and white is what happened in the past. In the end he goes in the room then you see him sitting in the corner, all that means is that he was just remembering what he did, can't change anything and that's why he's wearing hospital robes, he got hospitalized aftwewards. (that's my opinion :/ )
