Grid, Money and Riches DESTROYED Hip Hop! Now we have Brain Wash it's REALLY SAD I Often go on line and try to gather a much REAL music as possible! I'm going to make REAL Music Very Soon when I get my thing's together!
Fuck those niggas or tricks voted thumbs down on this. If there was a rapper's hall of fame, kast would be in it and this album and SONG would've contributed to it......
Laface was on of the last record labels to put hip hop on wax for the D.J. Now its lap tops and cd's.....If it aint on wax, it aint nothing!!! Ths was the last great stand for hip hop. It was etched in stone by such groups as Outkast, Goddiemob. This is truly a lost art. Thanks for the 9 greatest years of my life guys,R.I.P 1990-1999.
THIS IS MY FAVORITE OUTKAST SONG. WHENEVER I HEAR IT IT TAKES ME BACK TO WHEN I WAS STAYIN IN GA AS A LIL KID, PLAYING OUTSIDE..COOKOUTS..HOT SUMMER DAYS
I WISH I HAD A TIME MACHINE SO I COULD GO BACK IF ONLY FOR A LIL BIT!
What was that really old mid to early 1990's young jeezy song that had him sitting on a blue bike in the beginning it was really smooth. i cant remember the name...???
put her on da wall. lol real pimp talk! don't smack her, don't punch her, just grab her and put her up against that wall and give her that pimp look! lmfaoooo!
murder was the case , bootlegs and b sides , illmatic , fundafied , above the rim soundtrack , ready to die , red mans album , creep on da come up , regulate , soundgarden , sublime , offspring , no doubt , red hot chilli peppers , nirvana album that period of life was no accident ... i really think people in my age group experienced something that might never be experienced again ever
@spideymayne yup ur right i think when we were younger we did take all this quality rap fo granted and the sad part is this shit aint ever comin back one time i heard eminem say growin up rap made him feel rich even tho he was poor i felt the same way can't say dat about the shit they make nowadays..
This is the most amazing comment ever. Well said, I use this beat Djing all the time. Its so chilled. Im so glad music like this exists, id be nothing without the soundtrack to my day. Thanks for posting this.
Album of the year because they were fresh, new and different, sometimes it takes that and talent to win that. We are stuck in that era now, nothing new, all the same Status Quo hip hop is where we are. Keep eating the same food everyday and it starts to taste like 5hit.....that's my anology for today.
Whoever posted this is my hero!!...aww bringing back mad mad memories, and my little 3.5 year old daughter and 18 mth old son...loves it......nice..ok let me hit play for 7th time. Peace out
this is the perfect example of what classic music is about. The first time I heard this version was around 94'/95' on bet (when rap city was real) and i fell in love wit it instantly. i was about 10 or 11 then, and i still feel the same about the song today.
this is the perfect ending for this album, which is def. my favorite album from Outkast, and one of the best albums I ever bought. 5-stars, hands down.
So Player's Ball (OutKast) became Down South (Big Tymers) which became South Muzik (Lil Wayne)
Damn Outkast owns all good music tbh
