Galaxy tab is 7 inches and the Galaxy S is 4 inches large and they have a different design . There are also specification differences on the devices. Galaxy tab has an higher resolution 1080p x 600 if i remember right(Galaxy S 800x 400) The Galaxy tab has TFT screen(Galaxy S Super Amoled) Galaxy Tab camera is 3 mp and 1.3 mp on the front(Galaxy S 5 mp and Vga on the front). And for the speed they have the same Hummingbird Cortex A8 processors.

Well, I don't know if you can really call it a phone. You have to have a plan, but he says the only thing you're paying for is a "data plan" and that's just internet. That's so you can have internet wherever you go. You can't make any phone calls, but unlike the ipad you can make video calls. I like it!

@kenston999 Tablets were made well before the iPad, they were just simply marketed towards enterprise users and not to the average consumer. I don't see how this product is trying to be like the iPad - different form factor, different OS, different features and more carrier options (granted Verizon is now selling Wi-Fi iPad units bundles with a MiFi for mobile connectivity). I personally have an iPad and love it, but also have an Android phone and love that as well, they both have pros and cons.

I have the IPAD now but only the 1st 2weeks I was so excited but I had the chance to see & use the GALAXY TAB & its a very solid Tablet ( advance hardware than ipad, then the quality is SO GREAT, you can root & do everything in it soon by help of XDA & lots of android guys)

3 things ONLY IPAD has on it ( Much bigger screen but not as portable as the tab, it has more applications then IT HAS APPLE LOGO)

GALAXY TAB has so many better feature & much portable & much solid built.

Vodaphone (Spain) is offering full Galaxy Phone Tab for 199 Euros on a 18mo contract of 39 Euros a month for 10gigs! What's up Sprint? ....ok so they are including a 16gig MicroSD along with the 16gig on-board for a total of 32gigs, but that's still not near as good as Europe and Asia that is also getting Galaxy Tab at lower prices. So Sprint and other US Carriers are ripping off customers! ......still better than iFad though, which Sprint won't be getting!!! :D

Its $600 off contract like most smartphones and $400 with a data plan, thats $30 to $50 a month.

The only reason a smartphone phone is $200 is because you have to get a data plan and a voice plan which is typically $60 to $100 a month.
