the whole friggin thing is heroic. One of the best songs ever played featuring one of the best bands ever. might be the most epic thing I've ever seen.
John said himself that he was very nervous before going onstage, so he admits that the first verse wasn't up to his usual standard - but once the energy from the audience hit him, he got a lot better!
ah buddy to true. it was the most amazing concert ever!!! all the bands bar marsha hines and taylor swift were awesome. When Chris Martin jumped in the crowd he was so close i could have tackled him. Although i must say the Presets where by far the craziest thing ever. It pissed down with rain and it made it even better. no one cared they were soaked. Have a good one mate!
I think this was awesome! Farnsey has been around since the 60's or something like that & for this song to be carried down through generations & played at a concert to help fellow aussies, I think farnsey did a great job!
Whilst this is good and I like coldplay, I hope we dont get another Farnesy farewell tour.........anyone know what Powderfinger and Barnesy were doing yesterday.....???
ffs don't be such a killjoy. I paid my $75 (at the MCG) and couldn't care less whose arse was on display!! It was an amazing concert and an incredible feeling to be a part of it all...
Um, sure ... I was actually in the seated area, so nobody had to strain to see around any part of me, never mind my 'selfish egotistical self'. But hey, thanks for playing.
My point was that if people in front of me were enjoying themselves and occasionally getting in my way, I couldn't care less! We were all there to have fun and remember the victims of the bushfire, after all - why be so miserable about it??
I was actually refering to the girl who was up on someones shoulders.
Sure get in someones way because you're taller than them and you can't help it. But to sit on someones shoulders when you have heaps of people behind you is just plain rude.
Oh man this was incredible. I had just gotten there and was like "lol I'm early for work, will watch for a bit." and then 50,000 people or whatever sing this together.
hes playbacking i think when hes not singing i hear hes voice

im not sure about everyone else out there, but i am a proud aussie.
i believe this is the greatest, most emotion-evoking, powerful song ever.
and i personally think that they should get rid of "Advance Australia Fair" as our national anthem, and make this our song
now i wasnt at either of the sound relief concerts, but i listened to the whole thing on jjj, and boy how i wished i was there.
even just to hear 50 000 people all singing the same thing in unison on the radio gave me goosebumps

Yeah i'm sure the people behind you loved watching you enjoy the concert whilst they had to strain to see around your selfish egotistical self.
