@romney27 Magic is science you don't understand. If you took the time to understand, through evidence and logic, the details of the process it would stop looking like magic and truly make you say, "Wow".
You don't need transitional fossils - transitional plant species are all around! You eat leaf spinach? Try leaf rhubarb - but not hard to find the intermediary species growing wild.
For animals sexual selection probably takes precedence over random 'natural selection' so that amounts to 'natural selective breeding' that is going to change species fast!

All I see are a bunch of charts and cartoons and no real fossils arranged in a steady progression demonstrating the steady changes from one species to another over time. The fossil record makes a much stronger case for creation than evolution. The theory of evolution is a fraud.
A quick search, on Youtube of all places, for "transitional fossils" produced exactly what you asked for. You are either being dishonest, are to stupid to fact check yourself, or failed to convey your sarcasm while saying something so foolish.
I am curious what the official Creationist explanation for fossils is. Did God create dozens of slightly different forms of humanoids 6k years ago and all but one managed to die out and be fossilized in that period? Where is that in the Bible?
I'm so lost... where is the proof? At least half of this was charts which shows nothing. Then you show fully indentifiable REPTILES, the only thing I can give you credit for is the mudskipper. If that DOES evolve then whoop-dee-doo for you. If it stays that way, then where is your theory? Emphasis on theory...
@GREATGAIWAIN A theory means guess in everyday lingo. It is not the same meaning when refferred to in the scientific world. Please look that up. Well we can't travel in time and actually film it, what did you expect? are you that stupid?
A scientific theory is backed up by loads of evidence (that keeps piling up btw) there is no need to defend the truth, these people are only sharing the evidence.
But you have the right to ignore the truth i guess, good luck with that.
Evolution doesn't deal with how life began, just how it evolved once it was there.
@n0n0nSenSe ...another philosopher?..truth to be told...if these creatures in this drawings are speculations of how an animal evolved, how in the world we should call this a fact?Does anybody have seen at least one of this creatures evolved from one species to a completely difrent one to determined this process is accurate? because if this is a natural process it just can't stop even if the species don't need more upgrades,it just can't stop for ALL creatures at the same time.
@breedofthe45 we haven't been accurately recording history for a very long time. human lifespan's way 2short 4any1 2actually witness it, the drawings aren't the proof, the fossils are. Evolution has been witnessed. Yellow butterflies evolving in2 gray 1s due 2 urbanization, think about rats becoming immune 2 poison or bacilli becoming resistant 2 anti-biotics. there's people born without an appendix, without wisdom teeth. just because u can't C it happen, doesn't mean it doesn't happen at all.
@n0n0nSenSe I don't care about butterflies,i care about BIG species,whales,humans,elephants,etc...micro evolution is not the subject here ok,is human evolution, mamal evolution,we are talking about upgrades not viruses or anti-biotics,changes is the subject,a change from one species into an irreconcilable difrent species but still the same species, thats what this video is showing.
@breedofthe45 like i said, the human life span is 2 short 2 witness that. & one species cannot give birth to another, it happens gradually. & the appendix & wisdom teeth are human evolution. that is how it goes, step by step, little by little, there is no such thing as micro evolution, only evolution and it will always be minute changes, but all of them added together is what gives you a new species. if u would have watch the video, or if you would be able 2 understand it, u would know that.
@n0n0nSenSe ....you still haven't answer the question, but thats ok,like a neutered dog you still don't get it do you?,..the process you are talking about like you said, the human span is too short to witness the process, therefore how can it be accurate?,how can you find a bone, dress it,claim the species had offsprings and developed into a difrent shape in a way that is totally difrent one?,drawings do not help, and the video do that.
@breedofthe45 --Does anybody have seen at least one of this creatures evolved from one species to a completely difrent one -- Did someone ever live a few million years ? Do you believe China exists ? Did you ever see it ?
@breedofthe45 Did you ever visit any museum of natural history ? The Smithsonian ? Did you ever see any evidence for creation ? HOW ? WHEN? WHY ? Why do only 5 colleges out of 106 that form the" Christian Coalition of colleges " teach biblical creation and 101 teach Genesis is allegory in other words FICTION ?
@lizazoon Why do you blast only the Bible?..is that gonna make those transitional forms real? is that gonna make your belief system more accurate?..my belief is not what is in dispute here, the subject is about transitional forms not Genesis, now from transitional forms you jump into Cosmology,i think evolutionists complaint that Evolution and Cosmology are diffrent studies, how come you jump from one subject into another like those subjects are the same thing? maybe your faith is the one you doubt
@breedofthe45 I do blast creation, because you blast evolution. Even your own christian colleges don`t teach creation. Fact is, the conclusions of all appropriate sciences concur in heir conclusions and make evolution FACT.
@breedofthe45 "By one count there are only some 700 scientists with respectable academic credentials (out of a total of 480,000 U.S. earth and life scientists) who give credence to creation-science..."
That would make the support for creation science among those branches of science who deal with the earth and its life forms to be about 0.14%
You make an excellent point. Yes the transitions (we think) involved these sorts of advantages. The swim bladder can be used backwards to function as a lung when oxygen dissolved in water gets too low.
This is just what happened in the water to land transition. Our lungs are homologous to the fish swim bladder
What you say is entirely correct, but at some point, there is enough evidence for these theories to say they're genuine facts. So far, the only thing that has happened for the theories you listed is that new information was discovered and made them more complete and solid. About the flies you mentionned, I also heard of similar things occuring with other species, such as tigers and lions where you can create a sterile hybrid of the 2 species (called the liger)
I'm just curious, but what is it that you would show happening that would directly prove evolution? It normally takes quite a while to see any changes at all in the specie studied... (I'm a biology student by the way, so you don,t need to explain why evolution is true, just what the thing you mentionned is)
Many thanks DonExodus2 for yet more excellent viewing material and the majestic music is,well, makes me feel quite superior/haughty ha ha when I think of the cogs turning(slowly and with crunching noises) in fundies heads when they look at the evidence (made by satan, last gasp fall back position)
Na,don't feel superior at all and I just feel sorry for some of my fellow brothers and sisters who refuse to truly look at the evidence as their shackles are on too tight.

Man, just give us the picture of the fossil. Not diagram, ilustrational drawing of the creatures, 3D model, etc. Just fossil. Don't have that many don't you! Evolutionist only have few transitional fossil, which actually a fully fledged creatures or hoax. For example tiktaalik is full fledged fish, like mud skipper.
Oh boy, just type in 'observed speciation and transitional fossils' in relation to any of the examples DonExodus has shown.I'm sure google will take you DIRECTLY to peer reviewed sources, the truth is a few clicks away IF you really want TO KNOW.
The fossils are real and paleontologists are finding more every year. He is showing you how they fit in lineage here. You may have to actually do your homework and learn what he is talking about instead of what creationists are saying about the science. It's not some grand conspiracy.
What the hell do you mean by "full-fledged" fossil?
If you're expecting to find a half-monkey half-man fossil, that sort of thing just doesn't happen, it would go against evolution. Transitionals show how (as referenced in the vid) early, primitive "sharks" evolved gradually over millions of years into modern sharks. There's no half this half that, just gradual adaptations over time.
It have to be exist a half developed organ for evolution to be true. For example, if fin changes to foot, there should be fossils which show the graduation. 90% fin 10% foot, 80% fin 20%, 70% fin 30% foot, and continue to 10% fin 90% foot. We just can't find that sort of a fossil. The fossil record show it either fin or foot. No transitional fossil. And again the number of that kind of fossil should be much more than the number of 100% fin or 100% foot.
Wrong - simply type "evolution of fins to feet" into Google and click on the second link for a diagram of how fins evolved into feet.
"After comparing this fossil arm bone to those from other tetrapods and closely related fish, the scientists conclude that many of the limb and muscle developments needed for walking on land developed before fish and limbed animals split." - so fish had "transitional" limbs that could also function as fins.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Dont find your link honestly. And diagram is nothing. You can draw imaginary diagram as you like, add many latin names. But it is nothing if you don't have sequential fossil show the graduation from fin to leg. Dont talk about muscle. Muscle can't fosillized. It is just evolutions imaginary.
It was the second link, but never mind. Muscles can't be fossilized but there are marks on the bone showing where they attach so it's not imaginary. The diagrams are also not imaginary, they're from fossils that have been discovered. If you want to put your fingers in your ears and go "la-la-la-la I can't hear you!" then that's fine, but the evidence is there if you care to look.
first re-watch these videos. second what source has debunked all the fossils, third why are these fossils still in museums, fourth why do scientists still accept evolution, and i mean atheist, christian, muslim, jewish, etc.
organs don't fossilize. they don't have hard materials to be mineralization. if evolution is a lie why do we still see new species emerging? and don't do the "they only pretend to believe because its a conspiracy" because its as dumb a hell argument from ignorance and only makes you look like more of a twat. if i can find the videos i will link them to you, they discuss why it is absurd to claim scientists will lose their job for not accepting evolution. stop lying and read a fucking text book.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
I have read the text book in order to graduate. But I dont have to believe in every book I have to read. that called, critical thingking. Yeah, I mean half formed bone structure (hard parts, like half fin half leg, half hand half wings)
Its either your intellectually challenged, a victim of deciet, or deliberately dishonest, as if you haven't seen the proof or you deliberately deny the video itself.
Good presentation, creationists can only dream of having this evidence to support their case, which is why they resort to attacking evolution instead of showing evidence of their own.
@bombarderoazul dream of having charts? none of this was evidence!! HAHA you're funny. Our evidence isn't observable, it's historical, your evidence isn't observable, it's imagination. I've never seen a THEORY devoid of any evidence, completely destroyed in the 20th century and yet considered fact in the 21st
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
all it shows is credible evdences of variation within a kind, but not evolution. And later lining up bones and saying look it's evolving( with big and substantial gaps), by the same logic i can show you how a monkey evolves into whale by lining up bones size it is not proof, or if you call it proof by the same logic i can say look an intelligent designer used similiar design features.
Do just a little more study mate and give a little more credit to those who know and have studied hard and without bias about these things. You were born with common sense, dont fritter it away on old myths and legends, it is not that clever.

I respect people who have studied hard at university. Because of them the west is what it is. I will take on board your comments and i will continue to study the fossil record and geology in particular along with radiometric dating. I research without bias and draw conclusions from facts. Facts have lead me to believe in special creation, but i am always on the hunt for information and will continue to research. I will send you creation evidence in the future. Take care. Regards, Blake
Well that is promising, however if you send me creation evidence it will be the first in the world, so I will be looking forward to that.
Two things to look out for, discoveries, and the explanations for those discoveries. It will be kindergarten stuff to say that a god was responsible, ('magic man'), so that is not an option.
Accumulated knowledge and an extra logical step is what makes human progress so satisfying!
All amazing discoveries are eventually, quite naturally logical. Good Luck!
Thumbs down??? People, if you're so dumb you can't spot such an obvious application of the Poe's law, refrain from commenting and playing with your thumbs.
That makes no sense. It is the most important things we want to know. eg. with out this quest to understand this universe we would not have electricity, computers, medicine, vast amounts of food, long range travel, satellites, cars, boats, air conditioning, fire, clean water, plumbing, housing, sanitation, extended life span, and countless other things that most today take for granted. I can't stand it when people bad mouth science while enjoying the benifits of science.
Creationists fascinate me. I cant help but take notes on how they speak act and interact with other humans. They are quite amazing and capable humans, yet the choose to spend time talking to their hopes and wishes.
Yes. They have put a great emotional investment in their fables. And that overcomes reason.
An eternal bliss in Heaven with your loved ones (well, your christian loved ones, because the rest will be heading the other way)? It takes just a little weakness to want to embrace that.
Science can never explain whether god exists or not. It is simply not a question science is bothered about. Coz by definition God is something which doesnt have a testable physical manifestation (direct/indirect) hence is supernatural. Every natural phenomenon has a naturalistic explanation - some are known, some are being worked on. God is only in our mind and hence completely personal. Let's not try to impose our personal beliefs on others. Let's not mix religion with science.
In the big bang theory, yes the big bang, way before to have life on earth... We have a period ,call the Augustinian era, before the big bang... Is there is a god, he create the universe at that era. See, even scientifically, is still possible to have a god because we are not sure about this era. We only start to have some clue and theory.
And well, so it's true:
Evolution doesn't mean that there is no god: It's only mean that it's don't happen like "creationism" said it's happen.

I'm not saying we shouldn't look, I'm saying that human beings need a little mystery left, so we shouldn't answer all the questions, but luckily I don't think we ever will have all the answers... I'm saying that we need a little mystery, do you look at the stars and think they're beautiful or just shrug them off as balls of burning gas, we can't let cold knowledge replace the beauty, mystery, and wonder of it all but at the same time can't live in the dark ages, we need a balance...
when i look at the stars i know they are giant balls of plasma gas and at the same time i consider them extremely beautiful and mysterious. if we stop searching for questions then we will be some monkeys playing with the same shit every day.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Then I'm sorry if the comments seemed irrelevant to the video... You don't want anything in the realm of mystery, you'd like to know all the answers, wouldn't life get boring if we had it all figured out... sure we need some answers, but I think that having mystery, awe, and unexplained phenomona are what makes life bearable, without something to speculate on or wonder about life wouldn't be worth it
The origin of the Universe and the origin of life may be different subjects from evolution but that doesn't mean I can't mention them does it? my point is that evolution may be proven but that the bigger questions of life, the Universe, and everything are better left in the realm of mystery...
I posted those comments years ago at the time I was still in the process of losing the fundamentalist beliefs I'd been raised with. I've since become an atheist and am now fully aware of the scientific reality of Evolution. Thanks for the comment though.
Good video, thank you for taking the time to create it. I"m a bit surprised more creationists haven't come out of the woodwork to launch some of their feeble non-response responses.
Ive been going through your videos since i was recently introduced to your channel and would like to start by saying ive enjoyed them alot.
After having watched many of your videos about how to debate a creationist and the emphasis you place on maintaining civil discourse and not associated evolution with religion i have to say your music choice for this particular video immediatly struck me as...odd.
Im not really trying to call you a hypocrit but...Sympathy for the Devil..really?
I actually made this video at a point when I was uber frustrated with their medieval black and white-ness. The song was meant to mock the "evolution is from Satan" mentality.
No I assumed thats what it was for and im totally cool with that. Just picture yourself watching your videos for the first time with much of the emphasis placed on doing what one can to keep videos portraying the facts of evolution as agnostic as possible to avoid turning off your intended audience and then flipping to this video with an obviously its mocking tongue in cheek soundtrack attached.
Like i said my intent isnt to point out hypocricy, if anything im glad to see you arent uptight.
I just want to emphasis myself that i am very appreciative of your videos. Much of youtube is filled with the loud and willfully ignorant and to look upon the creationist/evolutionist "debate" by watching most of the videos on this site you would assume it was a theistic/philisopical debate with evolution somehow on the side of atheism. Thanks for the reminder and the perspective. Not all christians are bat-shit crazy anti-intellectuals....they are just often the loudest and most heard.
I think you mention not having time to do a video on human evolution. Do you think you could make one, detailing homo sapiens and our other homo cousins? I know you go over it breifly in Top Myths About Evolution I, but I think a more thorough video would be interesting.
Every organism alive today is a transitional form, just look at a Penguin, mid way into it's "next" form and the Marine Iguana, just starting out- by the seashore...
Don't get caught in the creationist trap when discussing the subject.
Every single fossil has a place on a continuum from an ancestral species either to a modern descendant, or, more likely, to extinction (the vast majority of all species that ever existed are extinct).
Yes, I made that distinction. But you can trace the lineage of those creatures back to their ancestral forms, and therefore show their transitionary nature.
Dinosaurs aren't extinct. Their descendants are flying around all over the place.
Ah, so whales DO have pelvises. Thanks for the confirmation. So through evolution, the pelvis bone that used to support limbs is left with a reproduction role. interesting.
So why are whales occasionally born with legs, as pictured in the video?
"...these vestiges." Yup, vestiges of the pelvis that was once used by LEGS. "Vestige" definition: "a trace of something that is disappearing or no longer exists." So it once existed in another, more advanced form. Thank you for confirming evolution.
Pelvis: the large bony structure near the base of the spine to which the hind limbs or legs are attached in humans and many other vertebrates.
Case closed. Whales once had pelvises to which limbs were attached. Thank you.

Nice show, you have proven what no living Scientist has been able to prove here with these images alone! perhaps if you could find even one actual scientist who has documented proof of this, undisputable(required by science to prove any theory) then all the other scientists would understand that theyve been wrong after lifetimes of intense study.
Amazing Imaginations! This is a good proof that evolution does exist and real inside the evolutionists mind. What would be the next evolutionary for whale in million years? Would it develop gills like Kevin Costner in the movie titled Water world? talking whale perhaps? and what about flying whale? Imagination!
Not sure. I imagine their nervous system would develop more. Not too much though, in a few hundred thousand years they would only be about as intelligent as a modern creationist. They could function and everything, but their cognitive abilities would still be severely deficient.
That's a good imagination, sure enough you're an evolutionist but, this is not science. A modern creationist with 5 bedrooms villa and a yacht is something a little bit wiser than a gorilla at San Diego Zoo. Now, you're not a distant_Distant_distant cousin to him, are you? I'm sure you're not. God created you in His own image.

#...You asked about whales, then applied what I said to apes...#
The difference is negligible compared to the jumping subjects of Micro and Macro, but the affect is quite pronounced confusions and it could be a good tool in misleading.
# Thats because whenever we point to current speciation, you cry 'THATS NOT MACRO'. We show you macro, and you say 'THATS NOT CURRENT!' #
"Macro" evolution is simply "Mirco" over time...why is this concept so difficult to grasp, you ask for examples of "macro" your shown examples of intermediat transitions and you say thats not marco....what exactly are you looking for..a chimp giving birth to a human???well if this DID hapen it would disprove evolution theory as the theory states this should NEVER happen.
evolution although a non random process ist difficult to predict how an organism will develope unless there are obious natural selective processes working, or artificial selection as we see in demestic animals..
also its easy to say what your saying when you dont know the subject your talking about..
would love to see this vid re-edited. You can't see the pictures because of all the text... it would have been MUCH better if you showed the photo, and THEN the text over it or simply ran the text along the bottom. Otherwise it's pretty decent.
YES! MUCH better! thanks! PLEASE be conscious of YouTube's compression technology and use text with a lot of contrast to the background. This is not your only video hard to read... and it's a shame because they are otherwise quite well done! Perhaps your video maker can compress them and that way you can proof your videos prior to uploading? just a suggestion.
mudskippers are cute they look like greyish muppets
but they arent close relatives to land tetrapods
we descended from lobefins with lungs not rayfins
mudskippers are rayfins & they dont have lungs
but since you got the picture they can actually climb saplings and reeds with those front fins/limbs ....so boys and girls what good is half a limb;) ?
It is really cool that you show some sound scientific description in this video, but I think you would blow creationists mind with it... they have some trouble grasping... well, pertty much any scientific knowledge :D
I like the note that comes with this, "What does inteligent design have to say" its so true every creationist argument is basicaly "Lets pisprove evolution".....I have yet to watch or read a single creationist argument that offered a pro position for there argument, or at least a argument that wasnt a logical falicy or just plain wrong..
I could tell you were cramming a TON of information into this video. Actually way too much. It's just not easy to follow, way too small text and it would have been much better (in my opinion) if you stuck to 1-2 examples and really explained them. The Rolling Stones music in the background took away any type of concentration one would need to actually read 1/10th of what you were putting in this video.
Just trying to provide some constructive criticism.
Thanks, I appreciate the criticism. When I posted walls of tests for diagnostic characters, I was simply trying to convey the point that there are hundreds of things we look at, and its complicated. I didnt really intend on them being read.
That being said, I definitely overfilled it with too many transitional fossils.
Funny you mentioned the music- I chose my track based on total length. I saw the title 'sympathy for the devil' and it made me smile :P

Evolution doesn't deal with how life began, just how it evolved once it was there.
n0n0nSenSe 1 year ago
@n0n0nSenSe ...another philosopher?..truth to be told...if these creatures in this drawings are speculations of how an animal evolved, how in the world we should call this a fact?Does anybody have seen at least one of this creatures evolved from one species to a completely difrent one to determined this process is accurate? because if this is a natural process it just can't stop even if the species don't need more upgrades,it just can't stop for ALL creatures at the same time.
breedofthe45 1 year ago
@breedofthe45 we haven't been accurately recording history for a very long time. human lifespan's way 2short 4any1 2actually witness it, the drawings aren't the proof, the fossils are. Evolution has been witnessed. Yellow butterflies evolving in2 gray 1s due 2 urbanization, think about rats becoming immune 2 poison or bacilli becoming resistant 2 anti-biotics. there's people born without an appendix, without wisdom teeth. just because u can't C it happen, doesn't mean it doesn't happen at all.
n0n0nSenSe 1 year ago
@n0n0nSenSe I don't care about butterflies,i care about BIG species,whales,humans,elephants,etc...micro evolution is not the subject here ok,is human evolution, mamal evolution,we are talking about upgrades not viruses or anti-biotics,changes is the subject,a change from one species into an irreconcilable difrent species but still the same species, thats what this video is showing.
breedofthe45 1 year ago
@breedofthe45 like i said, the human life span is 2 short 2 witness that. & one species cannot give birth to another, it happens gradually. & the appendix & wisdom teeth are human evolution. that is how it goes, step by step, little by little, there is no such thing as micro evolution, only evolution and it will always be minute changes, but all of them added together is what gives you a new species. if u would have watch the video, or if you would be able 2 understand it, u would know that.
n0n0nSenSe 1 year ago
@n0n0nSenSe ....you still haven't answer the question, but thats ok,like a neutered dog you still don't get it do you?,..the process you are talking about like you said, the human span is too short to witness the process, therefore how can it be accurate?,how can you find a bone, dress it,claim the species had offsprings and developed into a difrent shape in a way that is totally difrent one?,drawings do not help, and the video do that.

@breedofthe45
Are u yanking my chain or r u really so retarded?
i haven't witnessed birth & yet i know it happens, u don't need 2 witness something first hand in order 4 smth 2b true.
There r 1000's if not millions of fossils & all of those fossils together make a pretty clear picture.
Why don't you go do some research, i'm not gonna play your science teacher.

You make an excellent point. Yes the transitions (we think) involved these sorts of advantages. The swim bladder can be used backwards to function as a lung when oxygen dissolved in water gets too low.
This is just what happened in the water to land transition. Our lungs are homologous to the fish swim bladder
LeopardFrogPilboxhat 2 years ago
What you say is entirely correct, but at some point, there is enough evidence for these theories to say they're genuine facts. So far, the only thing that has happened for the theories you listed is that new information was discovered and made them more complete and solid. About the flies you mentionned, I also heard of similar things occuring with other species, such as tigers and lions where you can create a sterile hybrid of the 2 species (called the liger)

Man, just give us the picture of the fossil. Not diagram, ilustrational drawing of the creatures, 3D model, etc. Just fossil. Don't have that many don't you! Rockster969 2 years ago 4
The fossils are real and paleontologists are finding more every year. He is showing you how they fit in lineage here. You may have to actually do your homework and learn what he is talking about instead of what creationists are saying about the science. It's not some grand conspiracy.
foxlake02 2 years ago 4
"Evolutionist only have few transitional fossil" LOL. You realise evolution only needs 1 to win that argument right? Although there are thousands.
systematic101 2 years ago
1. no if the theory is true, there should be more transitional fossil than full fledged fossil
2. Actually there are none, zip. so called few transitional fossil is either force misintrepreted full fledged species or hoax.
probokator 2 years ago
What the hell do you mean by "full-fledged" fossil?
If you're expecting to find a half-monkey half-man fossil, that sort of thing just doesn't happen, it would go against evolution. Transitionals show how (as referenced in the vid) early, primitive "sharks" evolved gradually over millions of years into modern sharks. There's no half this half that, just gradual adaptations over time.
AtheistBrit 2 years ago
It have to be exist a half developed organ for evolution to be true. For example, if fin changes to foot, there should be fossils which show the graduation. 90% fin 10% foot, 80% fin 20%, 70% fin 30% foot, and continue to 10% fin 90% foot. We just can't find that sort of a fossil. The fossil record show it either fin or foot. No transitional fossil. And again the number of that kind of fossil should be much more than the number of 100% fin or 100% foot.
probokator 2 years ago
Wrong - simply type "evolution of fins to feet" into Google and click on the second link for a diagram of how fins evolved into feet.
"After comparing this fossil arm bone to those from other tetrapods and closely related fish, the scientists conclude that many of the limb and muscle developments needed for walking on land developed before fish and limbed animals split." - so fish had "transitional" limbs that could also function as fins.
AtheistBrit 2 years ago

Dont find your link honestly. And diagram is nothing. You can draw imaginary diagram as you like, add many latin names. But it is nothing if you don't have sequential fossil show the graduation from fin to leg. Dont talk about muscle. Muscle can't fosillized. It is just evolutions imaginary.
probokator 2 years ago
It was the second link, but never mind. Muscles can't be fossilized but there are marks on the bone showing where they attach so it's not imaginary. The diagrams are also not imaginary, they're from fossils that have been discovered. If you want to put your fingers in your ears and go "la-la-la-la I can't hear you!" then that's fine, but the evidence is there if you care to look.
AtheistBrit 2 years ago 3
Probokator are you a terrible troll or are you really just that dumb?
point to somewhere on the tetrapod lineage where the "evilutionist" paradigm breaks down?

Two things to look out for, discoveries, and the explanations for those discoveries. It will be kindergarten stuff to say that a god was responsible, ('magic man'), so that is not an option.
Accumulated knowledge and an extra logical step is what makes human progress so satisfying!
All amazing discoveries are eventually, quite naturally logical. Good Luck!

Let's not mix religion with science.
agg323181 3 years ago 21
unless of course christ actually existed then we have something natural to study?
BigG99 3 years ago
In the big bang theory, yes the big bang, way before to have life on earth... We have a period ,call the Augustinian era, before the big bang... Is there is a god, he create the universe at that era. See, even scientifically, is still possible to have a god because we are not sure about this era. We only start to have some clue and theory.
And well, so it's true:
Evolution doesn't mean that there is no god: It's only mean that it's don't happen like "creationism" said it's happen.

Much of youtube is filled with the loud and willfully ignorant and to look upon the creationist/evolutionist "debate" by watching most of the videos on this site you would assume it was a theistic/philisopical debate with evolution somehow on the side of atheism. In truth, ALL fossils are transitional.
Every one.
Don't get caught in the creationist trap when discussing the subject.
Every single fossil has a place on a continuum from an ancestral species either to a modern descendant, or, more likely, to extinction (the vast majority of all species that ever existed are extinct).
Every fossil is transitional. Every one.
middlekk 3 years ago
"Every fossil is transitional. Every one."
Except the ones that went extinct, surely by the very definition?
Something must come after for them to have come between in order for them to be transitional.
hilbert54 3 years ago
Yes, I made that distinction. But you can trace the lineage of those creatures back to their ancestral forms, and therefore show their transitionary nature.
Dinosaurs aren't extinct. Their descendants are flying around all over the place.

It does NOT mean useless, it means useless for its original function.
For example- ostrich wings are used in mating, but are useless in flight. They are vestigial.

Ah, so whales DO have pelvises. Thanks for the confirmation. So through evolution, the pelvis bone that used to support limbs is left with a reproduction role. interesting.
So why are whales occasionally born with legs, as pictured in the video?

Mutations that reactivate the genes that used to generate legs, I believe.

Pelvis: the large bony structure near the base of the spine to which the hind limbs or legs are attached in humans and many other vertebrates.
Case closed. Whales once had pelvises to which limbs were attached. Thank you.

evolution although a non random process ist difficult to predict how an organism will develope unless there are obious natural selective processes working, or artificial selection as we see in demestic animals..
also its easy to say what your saying when you dont know the subject your talking about..

would love to see this vid re-edited. You can't see the pictures because of all the text... it would have been MUCH better if you showed the photo, and THEN the text over it or simply ran the text along the bottom. Otherwise it's pretty decent.

Yea, Im thinking about that. Perhaps Ill re-release it. I tried to do the second a bit better, what do you think of that one?>
DonExodus2 4 years ago

Correct. I simply used them to demonstrate that amphibious creatures are not too awkward in both environments to survive.

It is really cool that you show some sound scientific description in this video, but I think you would blow creationists mind with it... they have some trouble grasping... well, pertty much any scientific knowledge :D
SanzSolo 4 years ago
I like the note that comes with this, "What does inteligent design have to say" its so true every creationist argument is basicaly "Lets pisprove evolution".....I have yet to watch or read a single creationist argument that offered a pro position for there argument, or at least a argument that wasnt a logical falicy or just plain wrong..

Don,
I could tell you were cramming a TON of information into this video.

But definitely- thanks for the input!
