Since Renaissance is the cultural rebirth of Antiquity I will not chide the insidious British Broadcasting Corporation for using Renaissance costumes instead of antique ones; and having Lepidus and Octavian debating how lewd the once warlike and vitreous Anthony has become is brilliantly done; though I am always reminded of the English ruler Churchill, who fought in his youth bravely in the Sudan, but later did give up the English Empire to the fiend-like empress of America, Dame Eleanor.
