I'd never seen this video before! wow! yeah, he looks best with black hair (altho I have gone from brown to blonde now... LOL). back in the day (mid-1980s) i had my hair darker and one summer did the same thing Larry did with the purple bangs :)

I had the pleasure of seeing Gowan with Styx in Tempe, AZ this New Year's Eve. The guy is just plain cool -- so much energy and stage presence/character! IMO he is a huge addition to that band; in reality, I went to see HIM, not Styx. The first cassette I ever owned as a kid was his, Strange Animal. It's funny how things can come around over time.

I really like him best with his natural hair color, and this isn't it. But, I have to say, I have always liked him in any hairstyle, cut, or color that he has chosen to sport at the time. Check out the ALL THE LOVERS IN THE WORLD vid...(If you dare!! LOL) and if you watch him in the MOONLIGHT DESIRES video, you may change your mind about his black hair!!

Yes! I was one who didn't know who Gowan was until the Styx/CYO PBS show came along.  I used to be a huge Styx fan, and then various real life things got in my way for many years, and I saw that special, and was like...who is that guy? He's phenomally talented.
