I order the carbon fiber and UV resistant clear resin online. Carbon fiber can be tricky to work with to make sure the weave does not get messed up with the curves. It just takes practice, better to practice with fiberglass and then go to carbon fiber.
charge lasts around 15-20 hours (depending on volume) without the amp amp on and if I turn the amp on and it is full volume it will last around 4-5 hours.
Oh wow, I accidentally stumbled across this vid. I love this idea. I've got a Cooler Kart for cruising the neighborhood and would love to have something like this to pull around. Any chance you'd sell? Check out my vid of the kart build. Excellent work man.
i'm sorry Homobo but if your asking a question like that you should just give up before you waste all your money!!! And "youanimal" I'm sorry but i heard your shit today going down the river and I'm sorry but it does look good but 6x9 are way out of style and sound like shit!! You need some bump in there!!! Oh and who invited all the chunky monkeys?!!!
@Blueflames79 lol, 6x9s out of style? Yes, for cars they are out of style, but for overall output they are the highest db for watt with the widest frequency range. As for adding 'bump', I have had a radio cooler with a sub in it, as you can see from my other videos, but when you get a sub out in the open it does not sound good and lose the majority of the bass/output.
well, i took the same cooler you have and put a 10" sub, 2 6.5" components, 2 4" two way speakers, 900 watt amp, marine deep cell bat, and it sounds bad ass. I took it down the river this past weekend and everyone loved it. Oh, and if you make the cooler into a band pass box for the sub it carrys the bass pretty good. I will post a video soon!
@Blueflames79 Well congrats on a good stereo, people always love having a radio around on the river. As for the sub, I prefer to have an all around good sound and high volume, that is why I switched from having the sub to having extra 6x9s, you can still feel the bass from mine as well. I just like to be the loudest on the river, lol. But either way, it is a win cituation if you have a radio on the river, lol.
They sound much nicer when the amp is used, it gives them a fuller sound with a lot more bass. But they do still sound pretty good (better than most) without the amp if that is your only option.
Because you can have a radio anywhere you want. I used it for a July 4th parade over the weekend with an american flag in place of the second cup holder. I use it more than I thought I would.
I have 6 of those 6x9 in my caprice classic cheek out my video

Where did you find the carbon fiber and is it hard to work with? Also, where is the battery at?

how did you power the head unit from the battery with a special cable or something?
Homaboi1 1 year ago
@Homaboi1 I just used a normal power cable from the battery to a on/off switch and then to the headunit.
