  • Great playing with a very nice touch!

  • Seems legit! Awesome job, dude.

  • Drum lesson please !!

  • very nicely played. what you mean by transcription by GM? would it be possible to get it for me as well? thanks ;)

  • Very Good

  • at 0:51 are you doing double stroke or that just a press roll?

  • @ORANGEjuice139 it's double stroke roll man!! and i think I did it wrong because the sticking of that part should be RRLL R (right cymbal) LLRR (Left Cymbal)

  • @mamalapornga yeah still sounds great though! I've been working on a Buddy Rich type double stroke for over a year and still haven't got it yet haha. But i just saw brian blade on friday and it was unbelievable

  • Well, you nailed the shit out of that... Very impressive.

  • very accurate mate!!

  • sooooo smoooth! i love it!

  • how long have you been playing? Great job, great groove, you're amazing!!

  • Very nice! I love that tune, and the solo. You nailed it

  • That's a spicy meatball dude

  • Comment removed

  • Yeah!

  • Cool !

  • Yeah great job woww

  • SMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTH

  • Thank you man !! :) really .. THANX !!!

  • Incredible drumming man, you're a very well rounded drummer. I prefer people like you as opposed to drummers who believe that drumming as hard and fast as they can = mastery.

  • Oh yeah! :)

  • can you that to a dennis chambers solo? that would be cool!

  • Love your playing man! Great drum sound too.

  • Wow, that is just beautiful drumming. I admire that you could memorize that solo as it appears your playing over the drumming on the track. Very good touch and well played.

  • @mamalapornga what ride is that?

  • @Tylerk105 22" Istambul Agop Sig Ride

  • wait a minute.... your not brian blade!!!

  • I am not from this country....what does it mean "Transcribing".....and is this recording for sale.

  • @TheBeatSmith It means memorize a music by someone else. It can also be when you write down someone's music by ear.

  • Bravo! You play beautifully. Great choice of pies too.

  • Very nice! Reminds me I need to do some transcribing...

  • @jazsmik good !

  • great sound man.

  • what do you feel it did to your playing after transcribing this solo?

  • what kit is that?

you're an awesome drummer by the way

  • @asafurge Sonor Designer, Maple, Byrdseye Maple finish , is like a horny pornstar !!!

  • Agop sig ride?

  • @Helslinky Yesss!! :)

  • BEAST!

  • Hey, Great playing! Can you tell me what cymbals you use in this video?

  • Bravo!

  • Excellent man, i know the process of transcribing a solo, and one of this caliber would take some serious listening skills. You should try and pick up some endorsements if you don't already have some.

  • wonderful

  • Perfect!

  • duuude...sooooo clean...better than oxy clean brah brah

  • Fantastic man! I really like it. Exactly like the original solo!

Funk/jazz is one of the best styles for drums in the world, it has so much natural groove!!!!!

  • great!

Wat is the ride on the right side?

  • Absolutely Brilliant sound and Touch! great Playing!

  • @juanperper Lo transcribí en papel y me lo estudié 1000 veces :)

  • How did you get the sound and video like this. did you mic each drum?

  • @Lampdawg no, only a mic in the bassdrum and 2 condenser mics overheads.

  • @mamalapornga, This is some good work. I love how you panned the mix making you come out of the right speaker and the original come from the left. What video camera are you using?

  • Awesome playing! And that kit sounds great as well.

  • Eso es todo!! Excelente video borther!!

  • ride use apology

  • this is sick!

  • Very nice, I love the way Brian phrases

  • que bateria es? una sonor? serie? :) excelente trabajo transcribiendo y mejor, tocando!!!

  • HOLY Crap!! I don't know how you figured that stuff out, but great job! it's cool how even though you're not right in the same timing as Brian, you ARE playing exactly what he did. That must have taken a LOT of work.. Wow!

  • good work man! What kit are are you playing? - it sounds lovely!

  • hard work !

  • needs more screaming!

  • That was tight. Straight in the pocket.

  • yeah that was sweet

  • dude your drums sound great

  • oh and by the way, if you have an iphone. get the amazing slowdowner app for drum transcription for those fast licks you just can't freaking holy balls figure out. or get the program for mac or pc ASD amazing slow downer... no they don't pay me to tell you this. passing it on.

    thanks in advance.

  • doesnt exist

  • Compared to Brian Blade, pretty much everyone seems tense haha

    Really good work, man.

  • Lovely..

  • alot of that is wrong

  • dont be a douche bag

  • @5999403 there's nothing "wrong" in jazz!

  • @5999403 I' think the same but it doesen't matter. IT SOUNDS and works! Can you make something work? Let's see.

  • ya you do seem tense, but it was great, and i don;t think people realise to get better you must learn how to play things that you can't.....so whats wrong with transcribing? he can now play any snippet of that at any time!

  • Fantastic!

  • keep up the great work i love it i can't do it

  • great drumming man! very clean and solid.

I don't understand the haters though.

  • Holy cow friend, this is beautiful. Great job! You kit sounds incredible too.

  • Thats really good man!

  • very nice transcription :P i love blade

  • I don't see if anyone has asked this, but what cymbals are those? Specifically the two rides. Looks like a 21" or 22" Istanbul Agop & 20" Constantinople. What series though? Sounds good man.

  • @Drumdok89 20 K Constantinople and 22 agop

  • nice job... you seem a little tense though

  • Beautiful job man. That's not an easy one. Great ears.

  • relax man- transcribing other peoples material and learning to play it is a much used method for expanding musical vocabulary- on any instrument!!! good job, I say, and i actually think this guy could play pretty damn well in a group setting!

  • You are a tool.

  • if youve ever studies music anywhere and have had an instructor advise you against transcription/lifting, youve wasted your money.

  • Well done!!! great sound

  • wow you are incredible! sounds pretty much as good!

  • cudos. skills and sound wise

  • great job, its so hard to play someone else's ideas and make em flow, great

  • Its close enough. and if u think u can do better i wanna see a vid.

  • @xxxxrhodesxxxx I do what i want and i play the way I want. If it's bad for you show us how to play it well. Let`s see if you are something stupid like a drum cloner!!!

  • great job! and your drums sound great. well done.
