How is this offensive? I swear people act like 3 year old's these days getting upset and offended over every little comment made. Act your age or grow thicker skin...that's a lesson I learned in the second grade.
The boobs comment was clearly a comment on the fact she was wearing a wig. Other women may have won with fake boobs, she won with fake hair. If it's fair to compete with fake breasts it's fair to compete with fake hair. The comment about white women looking weird was illustrating it being accepted in one race but not on another. I think the conehead remark was insensitive but I think that to say the whole video would be offensive is simply an oversensitive exaggeration
@squeezycheeseypeas I completely agree with you. They really werent attacking bald women, they were trying to present how foolish it is for people to judge bald people just for not having hair. If people would actually LISTEN to what they were saying you can clearly see that yes it was a BIT insensitive but it wasnt over the top. I dont understand these people sometimes.
I wish Kayla won .SHE HAD IT; SHE IS BEAUTY!. To have a winner with similar hair to the wig she wore just shows that they wanted to give it to her and didn't for that reason. I thought there was something so special and fantastic about Kayla that I had to go back and search her on youtube after the pagenat and I had no idea why. Now I know she is sooo special and the Real spirit of a MISs America is in her. I hope she keeps in the public eye to keep the message out there that beauty is inside.

i heard them say if u have a mis-shapped head u will look funny like anyone else, bald or not. that was not a reference to an illness. did u guys not hear sherri & the guy say...black women where their hair in all types of ways & bald is fab on many. I am a long time viewer and am discusted with the comments. Your comments have insulted many people who have to deal with alopecia. Miss Delaware is trying to raise awareness of a disease that emotionally affects many girls. I should know because my 15 year old daughter has been dealing with it since the age of 3. They would never suggest that a bald man with a less than perfectly-shaped head should wear a wig. Someday women who lose their hair will have the freedom to choose baldness, too. Until then, we have to put up with comments like these.
