together with the bid of manila is ho chi mihn, singapore, kuala lumpur nad dubai. traffic is one of the criteria in choosing the venue.dubai is very congested now adays and ho chi mihn is still a thriving city with singapore and kl as a biggest threat of the manila.
It give me chills. This is the best opening ceremony ever. I hope Cebu or Davao will be the host of the next SEA Games in 2019. Pinoys are the world's best shouter.

The Philippines will not ever be prosperous as long as there are corrupt politicians, unemployed population, uncontrolled population, too much pollution, injustice practices such as killings, gap between rich & poor, discrimination among regional groups, unequal distribution of employment among cities, etc. are brains of politicians or government working to realize what are needed for a change? wake up people who manage our country!
mag hohost na naman ang manila. i mean cmon, nakakasawa na na manila ang mag hohost ng sea games. ung iba naman. give sana ng chance ang POC ung ibang cities na may potential na maka host ng isang inter-regional games especially sa mindanao na walang sporting event noong sea games 2005. but first, mag bigay naman ng support ang govt for our sports like additional infra for sports like stadiums, indoor arenas etc.
davao city has a huge land area. naka propose na nga ng isang sports complex ang city. hanapin niyo sa skyscrapercity. 30000 seating capacity ang stadium. but for now, hindi pa siya ginawa kasi because of land despute. it was decided na the city owned the land but for now, it was being appealed by court of appeals
but for me, Davao is not suited for the Asian Games or the Olympics. It isn't developed well yet. Cebu is well up for the job pero if im the organizer, ill put it somewhere nearer the capital.
i didnt say that pwede siya sa asiad or olympiad, it is obvious. but davao can host the sea games. and fyi, davao is quickly developing and not just the city itself, also the whole region is starting to katkat (climb). the thing is davao has the potential to host sea games but obviously again, it can't host asiad or olympiad.

They wont put MoA in a reclamated area if di un matibay. Almost half of hongkong is reclamated. Disneyland in Lantau island is reclamated. its safer than you think it is. but Clark is a better venue. ung airport dun international na so may plano tlga n dun nga ilagay...
India lost from Incheon because of the pollution in New Delhi. India offered free travel expenses via the national carrier but korea offered too via Korean Air. Ayun.. kaya natalo ang india. But anyway, Delhi padin naman ang mghohost ng 2010 Commonwealth Games.

I compare it to the venue of 24th SEA Games in Thailand,the difference is that their stage is bigger cause it is in stadium but it has poor lights and color unlike here in Quirino grandstand they have proper lighting and beautiful stage and wonderful music and presentation knowing that this opening ceremony has only little budget compare to Thailand that they are proudly claim that it is a never before seen opening but for me it's not!!!
