No, it's not because you have rights, but because they are forced to give you a set amount of money per hours, regardless of your quality of work, and unions make it almost impossible for a business to fire bad workers and find good ones. Cruel corporations don't want slave labor, because the larger corporations are generally under constant watch. Admittedly, our immigration system needs one hell of an overhaul, but it's the law, and, if they wish to live within OUR borders they have to abide by OUR rules, whatever they are.
