hello CC: iam not sure if you see the big picture. inhofe like kern, backman have little concept of what they are talking about. most of us know gitmo is a negative, sore-spot on us laws & world views of us. what has gitmo done that is positive or detered crime ?

well you're getting there. you've sited a few flimsy examples.  I'm proud of you, although I don't agree with you. Why would you want to put these people on trial here in the usa? Forget the fact that Gitmo is in Cuba away from our shores and less likely to stir up the folks in NY, who are outraged by them coming to our shores. The plain and simple fact is that we have never tried combatants in civil court. They are at war with our country. They should be tried in a military court.
