I feel like Bright Noa must pretty much be the best commander of all time, because not only has he fought excellently in every single space war, he's got a LOT of experience dealing with hot-shot jackass teenage pilots, so he knows exactly how to handle them and apply them in combat, and also is aware that somehow inevitably the new Gundam's pilot is one of them.

What's amazing is how charming and rational he sounds and acts when he's one of the most blatantly evil guys in the entire Gundam metaseries.

All he says and does are weird, crazy things, he's a mysterious guy with a mysterious past who's an excellent troop commander and ALSO a brilliant pilot who is ALSO a genius mobile suit designer.

And he kind of flat out says that he want to rule the world.

And yet...it sounds so REASONABLE when he says it.

@warriorking4ever Jerid Messa is impulsive and places too much stock in his "pride" as a soldier to perform his assigned tasks. He isn't driven by "blind hate" as much as the desire to avenge the death of his allies [Kakricon and his love-interest, Lila]. From the previous episodes we can see that he, like Kamille, is developing and learning to be more efficient on the battlefield but his being over superiors is just from his title of being a Titan which is one rank higher than normal. Idiotic.

Actually he was pretty much created to be a total looser.

In the original series, let's face it, Char was pretty much a million times cooler then Amuro for nearly the entirety of the series.

So, just like how they made the Earth-based group the bad guys and the space-based group the good guys in an inversion of the original show Kamille gradually grows up, though his terrible dub voice actor STILL makes him sound whiny while Jerid is just a total fucking looser then whole series.
