Wow, I didn't know that...To answer your question, I think that people love her (Outside of Iceland) because she's so different than what they're used to. Also, you are very lucky to live in a country with such a beautiful climate! And yes, I DO love the cold weather! Ironically, my hometown (I'm not there now) gets a few degrees colder than Iceland in the winter, but much hotter in the summer! BTW, I hate summers in the eastern part of the U.S.!

Plus, I read that Iceland's summers are incredibly beautiful, not like here on the eastern U.S. where it's hot, humid and sticky, with a lot of cockroaches, flies and all other types of insects that love to get in your food and everywhere else!

Hence the dead people. All the red covering them indicates they are dead. Not sure about the white ribbons though- perhaps representing Lisa's purity (relative purity regarding her role in the video at least.)
