I've used both PCGS and NGC and I've had painful results back from both on ocassions but you accept that. PCGS have not always responded to enquiries or difficulties experienced with getting coins back from the US to the UK. Furthermore, their slabs for small coins have been very poor quality with fissures in the plastic. NGC have better customer service in my view.
well, i've been a member of ANA for nearly 2 years i believe & that is the company that would allow me to send coins to NGC for grading. i like the holders NGC uses, but really i think it's just a personal preference. so long as you get your stuff graded by any of the big 4, NGC, PCGS, ICG, ANACS. either choice would be a good one i feel.
PCGS is the most respected.

i would go pcgs. they are usually harder to get good grading from but they also seem to give you more money comapred to ngc as far as sell price goes

NGC is the best! I think they do a better job for the customers to get their coins graded. Plus I like their cases better.

My dealer said that he strongly prefers ngc because they are a true 3rd party grader.
Pcgs is not because he said they most of thier coins are their own, they run most of the coin shows in cali and own many coin shops.
told to me by my coin dealer!!!!!
