  • ya that thing is soooooo beast

  • ok well if u ever get sick of it let me know i really really want it

  • @jcasoriousa : lol, that's not going to happen ;-)

  • can i please buy it

  • @jcasoriousa : it's not for sale, sorry

  • Im using headphones, that launcher noise scared the Sh!t out of me -_-

  • @sticksanity : LOL, that's a good one ! reminds me the good old days playing alone in my room to wolfenstein 3D or doom. Got scared / surprised many times, *especially* with headphones ^-^

  • @irvinplecter yeah i miss days of the playstation 1 where horror games were successfully scary :( its like they tried harder back then, horror game producers seem to think that swarming people will thousands of whatever is included in the game at a time makes it more scary, but i find it more scary when fewer enemies come and less predictable times

  • Yeah but... will it blend...

  • @SupaHumanTV : well it will for sure blend a few alien's butts ;-)

  • if you were going to sell this pulse rifle, how much would you sell it for? i am just curious thats all. thanks.

  • @megaben99 well... I'm not selling it LOL

  • @irvinplecter like i said i was just curious. p.s. thanks for replying, and if any of those damn aliens come at you, use the pulse rifle. have a nice day

  • Haha, this is hilarious. The sounds aren't quite right (a bit too high pitched), but still... Someone has made an airsoft gun that sounds better than the official sound effects in Alien Vs Predator 3.

  • @DGneoseeker1 : you're quite right, the video doesn't do justice to the sounds, the PR sounds better when seen in person. Still, I'll take your words and I'll adjust the pitch ! thanks !

  • @irvinplecter It's extremely impressive for an airsoft gun, I have to say. Actually the "pulse" effect is pretty good. It's the noise when you emptied the magazine/fired at the camera that confused me. Is that a single shot mode or something like that? It sounds different to the earlier "pulsing" effect which was a lot like the movie. Or maybe the gun is playing some kind of standard gunshot noise OVER the pulsing effect? Anyway, someone needs to do this with an M56 Smartgun.

  • wicked erv

  • How did you make the fx sound? Do you have a MP3 recorder or something?

  • @SakuChanofthesand : it's a custom electronic board I designed. Changeable sounds installed on a SD card. The board handles the light fx too.

  • That grenade sound is waaay too long.

  • im suprised the retarded english governemt hasnt yet thought of making people have a licence for these yet

  • @painsey then I'm fortunate for not being in the UK then (I heard about how difficult it can be to have just a simple airsoft which make props replica harder than in other places).

  • Great work! Compliment!

    5*

  • lol, this is $900 on the Thinkgeek site...

  • @1981z28camaro : thinkgeek sold the monster in motion PR replica (IIRC) that was designed way after I made mine. My PR wasn't bought ready made if that's what you mean (I bought the G&P kit though, shells and such aren't scratch built).

  • @irvinplecter interesting, I just thought the price was a bit high for it... after all it's not a real weapon, and just makes a sound and shows a flash of light, lol (not making fun of it, just think the price is a bit high for that)

  • @1981z28camaro : that's a high price for sure but since it's not mass manufactured, that's the price of "semi automated craftsmanship". Total cost of my own project is over $800 for just the part (airsoft, kit, electronics, machined parts etc). Then add the case, M40 replicas, decorative plates and PR user's manual, you hit $1200 easily (that doesn't count work of course). Collectibles are most of the times made in limited quantities and with a lot of manual operations (like sideshow statues).

  • @irvinplecter true, I guess I'm just not one of those types of people that would shell out $1200 on something unless it can provide me with practical use.

  • soo cool man how much do you sell the guns for ?

  • @HQZMCBOOMZHQ : I don't sell them, this is a personal prop for my collection.

  • GENIUS...!

  • Cpl. Hicks: "remember irvinplecter, short,controlled-bursts!"

  • IRV! you don't remember me but I talked to you a looooong time agon about your sabers. You are a total stud!!! Are you still making awesome sabers with customizable soundboards? I have been out of the loop for a while so i am sure everything has changed since 2007

  • @gaozhi2007 I for sure keep going in props electronics, check my other videos !

  • the 2 weapons I would use are this one and the pistol from RoboCop

  • @STERNrogering Robocop´s gun is a Beretta 93R,you can get an airsoft replica,of course gas operated with blowback.

  • @cascoscuro79 is it a real gun? I mean the Beretta 93r?!

  • @STERNrogering Of curse,totally real,but robocop's gun was modified

  • this is very cool! thanks for showing it!

  • @MrZapperdoodle if you're talking about the red dot sight I added, it's a custom add-on, just made the rail out of plasticard. You can see some picture about that in the project page on the website.

  • you HAVE to be a hardcore fan to have that

  • Very impressive dude! The fact that you did all that yourself is truly amazing. I am planning on joining the Coast Guard next year as a Gunners Mate. After I am done serving my time enlisted, I hope to build an actual working firearm in the model of this Pulse Rifle.. Would like to use the Thompson as the base gun, and attach a remington shotgun on it as the (grenade launcher) secondary fire. Then build a kit around the weapon to resemble the pulse rifle seen here. Way to go dude!

  • that is the most awesome toy pulse rifle i have ever seen. you sir, deserve a medal.

  • I WANT ONE

  • Plecter you are right.

For bibbwigglstyle information. The background of the M41a Pulse Rifle was a combination of aluminium shrouds custom made, M1A1 Thompson reciever, Remmington shotgun and a SPAS cage. So rightly yes it is more or a less a combination of 2 shotguns and in the movie it's a grenade luncher.

    love and Respect

    -manicmodelman

    x

  • one its not a shotgun attachment dumbass its a grenade launcher

  • @BiggWigglyStyle : get educated about the history of that props. The "grenade launcher" was made out of the combination of 2 shotgun parts.

  • @irvinplecter the spas 12 i guess ?

  • @irvinplecter i agree @BiggWigglyStyle probably cant tell that its obviously a shotgun, cause its barrel isnt even big enough to fire 30 mm

  • The ammo counter is a little slow id speed it up a bit if i wer u.

  • NIGHT WISH!!!! :D

  • I like the nightwish poster. :D what a rifle!

  • That there is a bad ass custom, bravo man!

  • great work, congrats ;-)

  • i stopped looking for one and made an airsoft one on my page

  • is there a place i can get the kit for less than 100 dollars?

    HELP!

  • good luck with that sorry, the lowest ive seen is like 300

  • wow amazing nice work!! i love aliens

  • wow! This is some real hardcore stuff!!! Great attention to detail!

  • thanks for the constructive comment, it's rare enough to be mentionned !

  • i fuckng want it. how did you get it. looks very beautiful with an intelligent design to it. i think the people who made the movie did a very good job at designing and i really love the pulse rifle

  • and you definately made some sweet mods like the red do scope or whatever it is. great vid

  • it makes it original somehow, and it's pretty close to an accessory that is described in the Baenna PR User's Manual

  • @irvinplecter thats a real sweet design. You should take that to a party or something and rock out with it. If you are building anymore props might I suggest the Predator Plasma Caster.

  • aliens best movie ever made!!!!

  • COOL. an airsoft PR

  • So did you do those light and sound things whit your self or did they come whit the kit

  • the light and sound fx I designed and added myself

  • is it hard

  • man i want that kind of airsoft too but i live in Finland so is it possible to get something like that

  • Awesome

How much did the whole job cost ya?

  • answer is on the project page of my website

  • thats killa man but the sound and the conter arnt matched! the counter is counting down to slow!

  • wrong,

counter was synched with the airsoft rate so that it stills counts BBs. Not as accurate as the stock optical system that went with the kit, but still good.

  • well; the sound it made was at least twice the speed as the counter , the rounds would be fireing much faster even on a real fully auto rifle and were firing way faster in the film! i was actually watching it as i wrote the first comment! but hey one hellova cool job ya did man

  • That's pretty damn cool!

  • if you dont customise it to work woth a soundboard does it count bbs or just count down when you press the trigger

  • yes, there's an optical barrier in the barrel that see the bb pass thru, and it counts down ammo this way. At least in the kit I got.

  • cool

  • Wow man that kicks ass! The sounds you added really makes this thing rock the hiden "reload" button is also a really cool idea! Does it still fire Airsoft rounds too?

  • indeed, it still fires BBs. However, the bullet counter was moded to be controled by the sound board so it's not counting BBs anymore ! Thanks !

  • do the sounds come with it? or do they show you how to make the soundboard with the instructions?

  • nope, the sound board is my custom work.

  • Woa woa woa! So YOU were the one that created the model for the PR air soft rifle? thats sick man

  • nope, I didn't "make" the model, but it's my assembly of a PR kit that goes over a thompson. While I did make some huge work on that, the other big part of the work was the design of a custom light + sound fx board synched with the bullet counter, and finding a way to get the PR still usable as airsoft. :-)

  • just for showing in convention, it's a prop replica. I'm not an aisofter, I just like to shoot a few BB in the backyard sometimes.

  • The whole god dam time i was like...

    STFU AND SHOOT IT

    STFU AND SHOOT IT

    STFU AND SHOOT IT

  • lol, what else to expect with such a gun :-)

  • DUDE I WANT THAT GUN SO BAD all those sounds are amazing its just so cool how u did all that . 10 Outta 10

  • the question is, can you build the electronics to withstand installation in an actual gun?

  • I'm not dealing with actual gun. That's not my trip at all.

  • You did a great job with the pulse rifle modifications!

  • Ok I want to buy that from your website. Does all that come complete with sounds and effects. I also have to buy the Thompson M1a1 to put this kit together right?

  • it's not for sale, it's a personnal project for my collection. Even the sound board isn't a standard product I make, I'm too busy with crystal focus saber core (sorry). On the website, in the various project section, you'll find the project details.

    Thanks for watching.

  • thanks for your PM aleinchump, updated the vid description with a link and more details.

  • nice work, now give me one! XD

  • if you have cool online shops, please post the shop names here, without the w w w and the dot c o m to avoid problems during the post. Or PM me and I'll add the shop adresses in the video description, thanks :-)

  • plus the scope I've used is very similar to one of the scope described in D. Baena Pulse Rifle User's manual (I own a print of this marvelous piece of work !)

  • Nice work, think you should have left out the red dot though, just seems wrong.

  • id like to find one of those under my xmas tree! screw it make it 2!

  • nice tobie XD

  • very nice

    great job !

  • Anyone in the UK interested, Wolf's Lair airsoft in London sell the conversion kits as well as the Thompson gun to transfer into the Pulse Rifle.

Great job on your version fella - excellent stuff!

  • can you build me one? thats awsome :D

  • unfortunatly no, I'm not even sure the PR kit is still out there.

  • fantastic job fella!

  • i don't like the sound effects but i do like the gun and have always wanted one since i was a child,i will offer you £400 if you want to do a deal will use paypal,

  • lol, it's a 800++ euro project... you can't hear the sound fx properly since the airsoft motor isn't disabled.

  • well if you ever want to do a deal then get hold of me,i will look into a price maybe £600-£700,

  • classic fucking gun.

  • When I was a kid we cut gun shapes out of wood. Man, to be 10 years old again with this thing...

  • glad it reminds you good memories !!!

    Erv'

  • genius how much is it?

  • how did you make it

  • I don't know... watch the video ? visit the website ?

  • aw dont dry fire the airsoft gun,

  • that's just for the demo. I disconnect the airsoft motor in the grip/handle for use in conventions.

  • Yes! Nightwish! Quite an amazing gun you have there.

  • thanks !

  • Not bad at all. Is the stock adjustable?

  • yes it is, however, the mechanical system provided with the kit isn't that stable, so I try avoiding manipulating too much. When in extreme positions (in or out) it's locked properly.

  • incredibly cool!! You should mass produce these (If you don't already).

  • wow you should only have it that if it is airsoft and i thought yours was. woooooooooooooooooooooow

  • Tremendous job, I'd love one!

  • thanks guys !

  • On the contrary, you look pretty average and your accent is fine. Your an f'n dork because you make weapons from 20 year old movies and actually look up profiles of people who tick you off. I do think your pulse rifle is flipping sweet though. Embrace your dorkness! Acceptance is the first step!

  • if it's dork in the US meaning (aka nerd, more or less), I do accept without any problem. What many people don't understand is that props replica is an actual buisness and involves high end electronics, that's why I take the time to educate them :-)

  • Good Job Dude.

  • Excellent work, Tres Bon - you should get paid for doing this.

  • why ? because I don't look as good as I should, or because of my accent ?

Interesting pointless comment... just like your empty profile...

  • Dorks make the sci-fi world go around, Irvin. I'm one myself. It's a good video and thanks for posting it.

  • This is an amazing piece of work, I love it.

  • so you built this why?

  • it's a movie prop replica, I do props replica as a hobby and for a personnal collection :-)

  • aaa it suc.... wait its pulse rifle from aliens movie =3

its awesome omg icant belive you did it 5/5!!!!!!

  • lol, what made you possibly start with "it suc%%%" ?? my french accent ? ;-)

    thanks for the comment

    Erv'

  • nice but pity the sounds are all wrong...

  • dude i have question.did you really make it?OMG it'awesome

  • yep, based on certain parts I got, as detailed in the video

    cheers !

    Erv'

  • nade launch is funny... why so long track?

  • Nice Work! =D realy cool weapon.

tough, The grenade-sound is quite.. unreal and the ammunition-counter should go down to zero faster (cause it sounds like a lot more bullets are fired than the counter shows)

  • thanks for the comment ! the counter rate is configurable on the SD card, I did my best to have it roughly matching the airsoft motor in full auto. But you're right, it's decreasing faster in the movie.

  • what can it fire?

  • watch the video

  • urm, can you build me one please? :) ive been trying to find one for ages:(

i will actually pay alot of money! :P

  • This is an amazing build :) I'm just not too sure about the grenade sound, it seems a bit excessive. But that's just my personal opinion. Nevertheless, this pulse rifle is still an amazing build. Well done! :)

  • thanks ! the grenade sound isn't movie accurate, but that's what I had in my sound archive :-)

to be great, it should be the grenade lauching sound + travel time in the air and finally explosion, but I found it unconvenient during live presentations / demo

  • Awesome job!

  • I am . . . .

  • learn patience instead of insulting me... Sure, you're probably the kind who like 20 sec vids like "hey, it's my PR, it's freaking cool, bang bang !". Other people interested in props making like / need the details of the built.

  • Sorry.

  • lol im an army cadet ^^ i carry the L98a1 CGPR. erm is there a drum mag that you can buy which will fit in the magazine hole? it would be better with drum i think because it says on the counter it only has 95 round drum mag would be many more, which means you wont run out quickly and having to take it apart and load it in a skirmish.

  • thanks for educating me ! Now, I know what's the cadet's weapon !

you're right about the total ammo of this mag, 80 from memory but in my case, since it's not for skirmish, I honnestly don't matter with this ! thanks for the comment !

  • lol np =p so yeah is the kit hard to put on???? are you in the U.S area ir U.K?

  • the kit is quite easy to install, just the front side batt compartment assembly system is stupid, I modified it. I'm in France.

  • so ur an english speaking french?

  • nope, the exact opposite :-)

  • u could make these and sell them for lots of money. i would pay lots of money for one of those

  • I don't sell those, I've decided to focus on props electronic boards, due to limited time, I had to focus on something (sorry). Sometimes, it's not just a matter of the money you could make, but the free time you have for your side buisness !

  • dam! oh well there's always eBay, thanks mate

  • where did you buy your kit again?

  • You'll find all the details on the website, in the various project section !

  • you sir, are a genius!!!!!!!!!!

  • yeah but its sounds fuck all like a pulse rifle

  • it's a really IMPRESSIVE fucking work you've done here !!!! o.O

    really nice :P

  • Hi, i'm trying to build my own m41a pr with some stuff i have laying around here, but i need some measurements. for example the angles on the magazine and some stuff... I also need to know how "wide" it is.. Do you have thoose measurements or do you know anywere i can find it?? thx

  • sorry, I have no blue print. Check on alienlegacy forums, you might find what you need there !

    Erv'

  • ok tnx anyway^^

  • One thing. Where the clip is supposed to go in. There's no clip there. Just a flat plastic surface.

  • Oops sorry. Should've watched longer before posting that. :p

  • no prob, glad you found the info !!

  • Nice! You did a great job! :D
