  • Hu ! I remember when I was a young man some lass I knew came into my house and mentioned that she`d been shopping and bought some new lingergie. She then lifted her skirt and showed me a pair of white lace knickers, and asked if I liked them !

  • I like sassy and shameless, she got to the point.

  • Ha ha ha @resculptit and songsmirth. What a load of rubbish the two of you are spouting. Breast implant indeed. What an idiotic, shallow comment. And songsmith, why actually are you watching this? All you do is moan about it.

  • I don't like Demeza. She is a servant but doesn't know her place and now she has something to blackmail him with. And now she's offering herself to him. Seems that she hasn't learned anything. And why you call this man a hero I don't know. He messes with another man's wife and he looses his temper to the detrament of another man's life, he never lets go of his vengeful thoughts, it's always his way or no way, and now he's messing with a 17yr old, etc. What has he done to make him a hero?

  • The insulance of people toward one another - even the hero - is almost stupid. Get Over This love for Elizabeth. Take the hooker - at least she would actually Devote herself to him. Fire the old lady, bring in the prisoner's wife and child to work in the house, Fire the old man - AND put the liquour under key (one key). Work the fields, house and stables and mines. Get rich and THEN advance against those who have dared him and who have challenged him. Elizabeth needs a Breast Implant.

  • I never liked Elizabeth in the drama. In the books, which are well worth reading there is a bit more back story and she is a bit more likable.

I also have to say I have always thought Elizabeth in the drama was not attractive. her eyes looked too close together. She was not as pretty as Verity. And Verity was described as plain-ish No one of course was as pretty as Delmelza. Until I read the books I just never understood why Poldark pined for her for so long.

  • He's lucky he lives in the 18th century. He'd be arrested these days just for touching a fifteen-year old like that.

  • I always found Elizabeth to be an imbecil. But I don't like the way Demelza is played here. Too sassy and shameless.
