  • cool SAt in the last 30 meters

  • NB. Life Jackets are designed to provide floatation in front of the chest with an additional floatation collar, this does not require the person to be consious to remain face up... however a 'padded' or an 'airbag' PG harness has vastly more boyancy and this is situated both behind AND low... hence a 'life jacket' is of very limited use...

Safest option for intended water landing is to remove any padding & use the velcro strap to compress the air OUT of the harness, lifejacket will now work!

  • NB 2: a standard lifejacket gives basic floatation (closed cell foam inside it) with the 'in use' volume significantly added to by the user blowing in through a tube (or a gas 'auto' system)... even without air added wearing a life jacket (remember the collar) will alter the glider handling as it is squeezed under the PG harness shoulder straps/back of neck..

Try a 'aeroplane' type 'Lifejacket' with no fitted closed cell block but simply relying on gas 'auto' fill (on water contact) system..

  • Freak in the air seemed that he don´t know waht he is doing.
