  • THUNDERBIRDS are.....GO!!!

  • suitable for sea shepherd

  • video is som bad wants too make me puke

  • What a hoggy looking thing.

  • batship?

  • the seabreacher is way better than this! it actually goes underwater. I WANT ONE! watch?v=7SUHOjnkmlI

  • @630zach630 I heard they're not all that great. You get bored within 10 minutes, its slower and not as manuverable as a jet ski, and after a while it starts leaking.

  • OMG!!! Look momma!! Batman is REAL!!

  • people in industry only give money for false projects.

they stay dominant against us by sabotaging any support project

that would reduce slavery and death.

i have plans for new entire systems in every type of service.

the public can use modern military grade vehicles,

we own them, the government, and a share of industry.

the public can also serve in our own security and be paid,

that is the law. - james mcashan. independent candidate for the US Congress.

    (independent of "parties".)

  • I'm sure Sea Shepherd would love a couple of these

  • Does thing leave the water or what? Looks to me like a fancy hydrofoil not a wing in ground effect vehicle. A wing in ground affect "floats" above the surface of the water. Check out universal hovecraft's hoverwing , or Russia's 300 foot ekroplan called the caspian sea monster. Those are true wigs .

  • i think i speak for everyone when i say, WTF????

  • go underwater?

  • Its ugly, slow and unstable,,, major FAIL

  • is it a hydro boat?

  • The Sea Phantom is up for sale for only $1,895,000 USD

  • @venturafor2012 that is to much money for an ugly boat

  • Фигня какая то, на этом только в бассейне рассекать!:))) Больше понтов чем толку!

  • Looks like a Whale Hauling ass above the water!!

  • @SWMoneyMaker Thats what its basically is my friend, and I need to have one of those

  • So much drag? The angle of the body and the pontoons look all off. Hope you can get it going fast enough. It looks sweet. Look at all the turbulence it creates at low speeds, not even out of the water. I guess you know what you are doing, maybe just another rich guy with more money than cents. My poor uneducated opinion, not going to work unless you redo the angle of attack, get rid of the angled pontoon thingies, and get it out of the water.

  • This was (of course) used by The Penguin in the original Batman series.

  • the concept on this boat is great.. of course many boats can make to triple digit speeds on water, but their consumption is absurd and most of them can't be used in open waters.. this thing goes on hydrofoil to lift above the water, the drag is minimal at high speeds and it's consumption is really low... a good concept to be developed..

  • Why doesn't your site have any information for interested investors?

  • part hydroplane too!

  • i think it has qualities of a tunnel hull and a ground effect vehicle. real low drag.

can they scale up any of these cool vehicles?

  • The russians built HUGE ground effect 'boats' they looked more like airplanes though

  • They claim they use Ground Effect but they're staying in a kind of hydrofoil planing like someone else said. First, I think the lift that they get is too miniscule. Second, the wing-lifting area is too small to lift it very high out of the water. Big design mistake! It should've been made to kiss the tops of the waves not plow over them, just look at the spray, that will show you.

  • Is That Batman ?

  • ok I just saw this newer silver version drop in at the sanibel causeways.(v10) written on the side... nice exhaust pipes out the side, looked awsome sounded amazing screaming but it never even got on plane, looked like maybe 15-20mph, didnt go to far an came back, the whole time some drunk woman was bitching about how she invested 20 grand an blah blah blah. hope you get the bugs out, would love to see it run

  • i met the inventor of that thing:)

  • Not very gracious planing...

Does anyone have some technical data? Speed, power, consumption, etc...

  • sure

  • Gas turbine might be the ticket...reliable, multi fuel use (change atomization nozzles) high power to weight and could offer thrust or mechanical power with a reversible reduction gear??

  • I agree. gas/diesel turbines are defineately the ticket. Second-hand FAA timed-out aero-space turbines, still perfectly 95% of usefull life remaining, are the ultimate way to go here. Pennies on the dollar cost-wise. Yet yeilding a craft nearly as fast as an aircraft? The airlines won't be able to compete (on short-to-mid range maritime routes).

  • its trying to operate in ground effect,it looks as of this point it is performing as a hydro foil.Ground effect vehicles are the next big break thru, lots of work to be done, but the pay off will be big.

  • what is the point? :/

  • One: didn't rate own video. Twelve year old daughter got excited. Two: What's the point? To make 100mph travel over the water practical. Serious surface transport.

  • this is stupid, i have a flats boat that goes faster than this thing

  • Crude Prototype averaged 75mph on less than 180hp. Doesn't seem like much. Until you realize its 30' long, 12'6" wide and weighs over 5000lbs. Actually set quite a few world records. 5000lb. boats are not supposed to go 75mph on 180hp???

  • how is this possible, looks like drag is minimal but still 75 on 180 hp seems unreal is it a v6? i know of 4 cylinders that put out more power than that. what kind of drive system is used? what kinda prop? blades pitch how is it that a v hull needs 1000 hp to do a 100 but you're saying its possible with 1/5th the power. please explain how this works

  • Totally possible. I've seen several REAL ground effect vehicles (those that actually leave the water completely) hit over 60mph on less than 100HP.

  • PS SeaPhantom does it in three to five foot seas. Ever had a flats boat at sea?

  • this guy rated his own video!

  • Twelve year old daughter liked Daddy's boat. Alot. Sometimes plays on Daddy's computer. But She's SeaPhantom run! She knows... Daddy

  • face it,there are simpler, cheaper ways to go this fast on water and there's no room to have a cup of tea on a sea phantom:)

  • What the fuck you been smoking Starshipyacht?
