Rika was the strongest, but they let the red one lead because the red one ALWAYS leads....this is probably the only digi season without the Red/Blue thing going on. It's like it has its own thing going on.

I didn't notice, but you are right!

In Adventure the leads were Taichi and Yamato.

In 02 were Daisuke and Ken.

In Frontier were Takuya and Kouji.

In Savers were Masaru and Touma.

All red and blue themed.

Also notice, the principal leads digimon have alwas been based on reptiles, except for Takuya's spirit which was more like a bird (Albeit birds are suspected to be part of dinosaurs evolutionary line), while the others always had dog-like digimon, except for Ken who had Wormmon.
