I had this game ever since i was born, and I did the one that you can go on top of the ceilien and go past the boss when I was 6. There are some other glitches i know. there is one i know that if you go in to a pipe get all the coins and when you start to go out quickly press left on the control pad and hold left.You will get stuck in the pipe. Also when you get stuck you can duck down and quickly jump forward and keep holding left you might be able to get stuck behind the pipe.
If you have it on gameboy with a big gray cartridge, you can use different palettes! When it's starting up and you see the word "gameboy" hold B or A and hit Left, Right, Up, Down! A total of 8 palettes!!!!!! If only have one old gray cartridge so it might be with all games!
A really easy glitch to do that will get big Mario through places that only tiny Mario can get is to run in the direction of the place you're trying to get into, and rapidly press down and right. Takes a while, but it's very easy to do and can help get extra coins.
there is another glitch where you can jump right through the hiyoihoi boss, and another glitch when you jump on a bouncing rock and get squished between the rock and the ceiling you will get teleported on top of that ceiling. i think there are even some more. i had videos of these, but unfortunately i lost them so i had to use the remaining ones for this video :-(

you can also glitch inside of the things that shoot bullets anywhere if you jump onto it when it appears.
