It seems like Bane in this film is a true testament to how much Schumacher did NOT get Batman.

He was Batman's mental equal, and his physical superior. Bane was more intelligent than any other villain in the series, that was his draw. Joker always had clever ways of messing with people and came up with clever plans, but nobody could match Bane's cold, calculating execution & will.

He figured out who Batman was on his own, for crying out loud. Schumacher decidedly ditched the intelligence.

@VenomShock yea, your rigth, i know that nolads Bane doesn looks like the original bane, the lucha libre mask, the venom (tho its rumored that he will use it on the ending battle), but the main characteristics are the same, a mastermind who leads mercenaries to turn gotham in a war zone and making batman to come out from his confort zone (the knigth) and force batman to face him on the terrain he whants.
