  • Stephen's right: The NCAA needs to set a standard

  • The legendary Jim tressel got fired, damaged his legacy, t-pryor was basically forced out, lost out on a possible heisman trophy/nat'l championship, boom herron was suspended for almost the entire season as was devier posey which made us have a horrible season. we gave money back from the arkansas bowl game, wiped out the wins from our history, reduced scholarships, one year bowl ban (which is huge), what else am I missing? all bcuz some players sold their shyt? USC gave Reggie Bush a house

  • haha these guys think they should have had more penalty when florida players who break the law dont miss a game...love you ESPiN

  • this is stupid...we were punished this year by having are key players out for half the season and lost our qb... and you obviously didnt do your research. tressel was a great coach who taught his players about living a good life and not just football. he never talked bad about anyone and showed so much class throughout his coaching career at OSU. im glad he was trying to protect his players. it shows that he cares for them

  • @OHIOSTATE142 the players and the coach cheated. i think the players that were the perpetrators should've gotten a 12 game suspension and leave everything else alone. as far as reggie bush is concerned, he should've been suspended 12 games for his bussiness. that is where i stand

    one more thing. go buckeyes

  • Hokeamania Brother.. Oh Ya...

  • Overrated lol played in more bcs bowl games and won more bcs bowl games than any other teams, 8 time national champs, your teams dont even come close lol. the infractions wernt even close usc payed there players ohio state sold there national champ rings for tats lol, look at all those other schools Alburn, Miami, Boise, Michigan, penn state they get nothing, what did Alburn get Heisman trophy and national champ trophy because cam nuten seeked and received $100,000 dollars.

  • @usaflashgordon Lmao, Shit obviously went deeper than just tattoos for rings. Why would Tressel knowingly cover it up 4 times?

  • @gerfall the reason he covered it up is because his players were family to him and everyone knows you dont snitch out your family or friends, even though he knew it would it would cost him his job.

  • @usaflashgordon haha exactly

  • This is a weak punishment, it should be this

    4 year bowl ban

    50 scholarships stripped

    10 year probation

  • @SteelersHayden2 A.) With a name like SteelersHayden2 your probably already biased against all Ohio teams B.) They are two different violations, USC got hit harder for because of all the other "alleged" violations that were not investigated, plus the real penalty came down on Tressel (which it should have)

  • @SteelersHayden2 hahaha you sir are a moron

  • Ohio State is probably the most overrated team in all of college football they have a weak schedule year end and year out and they get blown out by real competition year end and year out USC was given a 2 year ban and they took 25 scholarships these guys commited similar infractions and lost a year and 9 scholarships WTF

  • @Alta626 your an idiot...So oregon and arkansas are weak? cause they didnt blow us out. and not the same infraction. your an idiot

  • @jarvis0033 You guys have a weak schedule and are overrated as fuck and yeah the infractions were very similar you recieved benefits and should have lost a lot more IDIOT.

  • @Alta626 you sound like the IDIOT.

  • @OHIOSTATE142 Why? Because I said your team was overratedLOL or because I believed you deserved a stiffer punishment for doing something similar to USC and your coach covered it up?

  • @Alta626 Again...your an idiot. I agree MOST of our schedule is weak, but thats not all our fault. most of that is conference play like indiana, and iowa. But for the last couple years weve beat up on penn state, wisconsin, michigan, oregon and arkansas. SEC has the hardest schedule and best teams. and part of that is because they are the most corrupt.

  • @jarvis0033 OK im an idiot for calling your team overrated and you didn't recieve the proper punishment for something you did and your coach covered for asses and "Im an Idiot" Really???? Whats the last couple of years the last 2 years? and Penn State isn't that great, Last year Wisconsin ran your team over, michigan isn't that great either other than oregon and wisconsin every other team you mentioned hasnt been that great

  • @Alta626 is that why wisconsin and oregon got in the rose bowl?

  • @profoak1 They still weren't good last year, But how bout those buckyeyes? oh yeah getting beat by real teams again for another year as usual.

  • @profoak1 And if you read my previous comment I said they were good

  • @Alta626 ok

  • WEAK punishment. Bowl ban them for longer! No one wants to see them lose more bowl games, They get blown out and it's so BOOORING.

  • @gerfall When was the last time they lost a bowl game!!! Jeez this page is filled with clowns!

  • @jarvis0033 2009, 2008, 2007, Two of those are NC's which they got rolled over in.

  • Comment removed

  • I agree with Stephen A. Smith. OSU should've gotten a more severe punishment like USC did, but as we all know, the NCAA is inconsistent in their rulings.

  • How about Miami U? What about what they did? The max player ban was 3 Games! That Booster gave things to them like i.e Prostotutes money.

  • @eehhkk12 preach it

  • Not weak.

  • Skip is right.

Tressel will coach again, at the NFL level so his only loss is at the collegiate level.

  • They both hit it right on the mark.

  • Stephen A. Smith speaks the truth. Weak rulings on Ohio St.
