Also, whenever I try to look at a video for a piece of gear its some airsoft kid not knowing what the hell hes talking about or his fake replica. Thank you for your time

If you use the - (minus or dash) symbol and type the keywords you don't want to find after them you can avoid most of the tard videos. for instance you could search for this;

"plate carrier" -airsoft -gbb -aeg -replica -marui

if a video has any of the keywords with a dash in front of them it won't be included in your results.

Doesn't look like it. If it were an IR laser, then you would be able to see the beam itself.

Not really.

First of all, he is using just a camera with night shot option, not any kind of night vision device.

So the laser is much less visible.

Second - the beam is visible only if there is a dust/smoke/fog etc. in the air. If the room is really clean it would be hard to catch a beam even with an NVD.

Third - the PEQ 15 has an IR laser, but it also has a visible green laser.

If you check my profile, you can see the beam of the an/peq-2. But I was using NV goggles, and even with that I had to focus my camera on the beam, to make it visible. An the PEQ-2 is more powerfull than the peq-15.

So, as you can see, it's hard to catch the beam on the camera in normal environment. It's much easier in the Iraq, because you have a lot of dust in the air :)

1. Because PEQ-2 is much bigger and heavier.

2. PEQ-15 is new, more advanced toy, it has additional visible green laser, so you can use it withount the NVG's.

3. Because most soldiers don't need so powerful laser. But sometimes special forces operators still use the PEQ-2, because they have different needs. Also squad leaders use PEQ-2 sometimes, because they use it to point the targets for other squad members, so the need more powerful "light".

PEQ-15 is less powerful, so it's less dangerous for the eye. Less soldiers with powerful lasers = less accidents = less blind people :)
