ant farms are awesome, its like you have a city of people but they are ants working and if you have the queen they will last a long long WAY Long time.

im making two ant farms that ants fight eachother one that is black ants and other that is red ants and when i see both big enough ill open a hole so they can connect and WARRRR!!!

Worst type of ant setup. The gel only feeds workers and is not healthy for them or the queen, brood end up rotting. If you're smart (And judging from these comments...), then you will replace the gel with damp soil. That way, you can keep your ants without them dying a premature death.

@guzotak No, if you get too small of ants, they will crawl through the holes. I have had that problem several times. You can either order ants from the internet, or try and find bigger ones. I used carpenter ants once, but they died.
