The "fix" in this video won't work The problem is that the top membrane (the one with the resistive squares) bends down over time until it touches the electrical tracks. There are better solutions on Youtube.

what happens if u put the paper under the sensors? Wouldnt that make the pad response much more bouncy?

@gumdrops27 in theory, yes, so if your's not picking it up you could try that... but i remember the sensor is heavy glued to the back plate and it could be tricky to peal it out.. so proceed with caution buddy =D

Well for the time being, I'm still cautious about opening the box before the warranty runs out, so I just pull a bit on the rubber pad from the outside, and it seems to make it more sensitive for a short while.

Do you have any idea why and how they happen to stick like that ?

I realized that mine got sticky from packing it in my bag to travel around and applying constant pressure on all rubbers with that. But you gotta note that korg doesn't have the best and/or strongest of the build up pads so even liking it a lot I can say it can be just poor quality =/..

Yes, and if it's reaaaly sticky you can also pell out the black plate with the sensors just a little bit and it helps too (we did that on my friends) mine only took the paper trick to work out 100% though =D... hope you can get yours fixed too
