@gst69man not sure what you mean. Look at similar bikes from the metric makers. Similar styling, similar displacement they are very similar price. sure you can get a 750 honda that "looks the same" but for the size and features, even the metrics are that much $.

The 09' price was around $18,000, I think and this year they have upgraded the motor from a 96 to a 110. If I had known they were going to do this I would've waiting to buy this years model. You're right though. It's an exspensive toy, but I love mine and wouldn't trade it for anything..... well maybe for the 2010 model...lol.

Very nice bike, but I can't miss that that topcase, so I ordered the 2010 Ultra to replace my 2004 version with 60.000 miles of comfortable travels two-up. No Vic could have given me that pleasure.

yes, and that is because honda builds cheap, reliable bikes. not everyone can afford a Harley. but rarely does a Harley owner trade in his bike for a honda. more often it is the other way around. sorry dude.

@mrjon75 Im keeping my 04 VT750 Shadow Aero but i am looking at a 07-09 Streetglide for the long rides i love doing. Get a used CVO for about 20-22k with under 4k miles on it or a non CVO street for about 12-14k.... Used harleys dont hold their value like they use too. More supply then demand now kills resale. no problems with my Shadow, just need something bigger and more comfortable. people in NJ DONT see smaller cruisers. id rather have some metal under me then what i have now.

I put 20 miles on a blue '10 SE Street Glide today. As a long-time HD rider I was sceptical going in, but I was truly amazed (and a bit speechless) coming out. Power, handling, brakes, comfort. - this bike has it all. Big Kudos to the MOCO for putting a damned nice bike together.
