The best ending could have been Bret handing over the belt to Shawn. I am glad that they buried their past and its good to see the two great icons of WWE embracing each other

If this did happen in front of "the right crowd" in Montreal, or anywhere in Canada for that matter, the mutual forgiveness would have been lost in translation cos half the crowd would be cheering for Bret, the other half would have been trying to stiff Shawn up his ass. But I get the general idea that todays target audience would not know Bret and see Shawn as main event jobber, which is very sad considering Brets' match at summerslam with Curt and Shawn's match against Scott at WMX.

I agree with ermonski and george2648. thsi happened in the wrong crowd which was filled with little kids who don't know a damn thing about WWE. All they know is stuff thats happened already and nothing in the past. The new wrestling fans need to learn about the past so they know whats going to happen in the future. I started watching back in 03 but i still know what happened in the past and thats why this moment was so historic and i am proud that i got to see it
