  • so I should wear a suit in mcdonalds for an interview? lol that should only apply for a few jobs that most of us don't have to worry about

  • @LCistheworst I second that.

  • so i am 14 and do i have to dress like ssom office lady?

  • @LCistheworst

You're someone that deserves to be homeless. Get a life like I have and go back into school.

  • That white bitch mmmm I would stick mah dick in her butthole

  • @LCistheworst mah too, mah to.

  • thank for u;r vidio.it usefull for me.great vidio.

  • I´d totally hire her

  • To the people saying they can't find a job: Look harder. Make it your full time job (8 hours a day+) to find a job. If it ain't working out online, go in person; go dressed up as if you are going to an interview and walk into every store and ask to speak to the manager. This WILL work eventually.

  • fuck!

  • Sheesh, I haven't had an interview in over a year! I've looked hard and then gave up earlier this year for a few months to try and focus on other things but ultimately I come back to I really want a job again. More like a combination of want/need a job. I like to work, so why can't I? Haha. How can you even impress anyone if nobody even contacts you for an interview?!?

  • @Jobsgalore4me Hahaha, you sound like you've copied everything I said, lol!

    I wish you luck!

  • "how do you do that?"

  • but what if you haven't had many employment opportunities and you've just come out of college? how can you recall on things you've done over the years to impress the employer, if you haven't had the chance?

  • @fermisk haha agreed

  • I Can't Get No Job For Shit, People Nowadays Are Hiring Based On Looks, Seriously Because I Have Filled Out Literally 100 Applications & Been To Interviews & I Still Can't Get Hired. So If You're Really Attractive Don't Worry You'll Get A Job Quick.

  • @SuperJayZFan1 if you have a head on you like a smashed crab I suggest you use this to your advantage and join the circus

  • @SuperJayZFan1 Indeed, plus capitalizing every first word of your sentence is also negative for your job interview... it gets annoying after the 4 first words..

  • hi from Azerbaijan :)))

  • @elgunq Hi from Bahrain 8D

  • @alijalal007 hi from uae lol

  • How are you gonna impress at an interview when you can't even GET an interview?? I've been trying since February, and I haven't gotten one callback! I'm getting discouraged.

Maybe I could be a dope dealer or a hooker.

  • @hotdrumchick dont give up! :D

  • @chixyman Thanks sweet, I won't! I have faith something will open up.

  • @hotdrumchick HAHA !

  • @hotdrumchick LOL hows t going got an interview yet?

  • @MickeyDeLaGhetto Nope, not yet. I updated my resume....hopefully that will help.

  • @hotdrumchick if they dont call!......guess who has to call! YOUU!!...=) be positive!

  • @Jchuyito17 I am! I have a good vibe about a job I just applied for :-)

  • @hotdrumchick

I know how you feel. I think that the most important thing is to go around giving out C.Vs, and not just applying online. Also maybe do work experience so that you can have more references and a wider array of skills. I hope this helps! :D

  • @IamGilgamesh666 Thank you for that! Someone else told me about the volunteering thing. It makes a lot of sense :-)

  • @hotdrumchick: Volunteering won't really do you alot of good on your resume' or in any interviews. Trust me, I have done the same thing with little to no pay volunteering during my period of looking for a regular job and nobody is impressed with that unfortunately. It's one of those things that if you can do it while having no real life responsibilities or bills to pay, then go ahead and do so. Most of us have responsibilities that require the need for actual paid work.

  • @Jobsgalore4me Hahaha! That's what I ended up telling the person that mentioned volunteering; it won't pay the bills! Luckily I've got someone helping with my rent, and I pay my bills with my unemployment check. Otherwise I'd be out in the street.

  • @hotdrumchick maybe constantly go in and ask to see the manager about getting a job every single day. Dont stop till they give you a job or prevent you from entering the store ever again.

Become a thorn in their side.

  • I always figured suits were for like office jobs.

I've never worked office jobs. I've only worked in plants (Production or just Warehouse & even Janitor) & in stores (worked as a Stock Room guy, a sales floor guy & worked behind the Meat Counter).

For most of those interviews, I wore a buttoned down shirt with either Khakis or Jeans.

But still I am always paranoid about being overdressed or whatever.

  • postnplace.me (A Job new website...)

  • Suppose you have organised any events, you can say that at the end of your answer to introduce myself. Your answer should tilt towards what direction you want your interview to head in. Always mention your hobbies, but not your career goals. Career goals is a sticky place to be in. Some interviewers appreciate ambition, others want a person who is stable and will stick with the same job. So find out what kind is yours.

Always try to find out more about the interviewer before the interview.

  • At one job interview I went to, the employer had the nerve to interrupt me when I was rocking back & forth talking to Jesus. Don’t they understand? Sometimes you just have to stop what you’re doing & ask Jesus for advice.

  • Some basic interview tips for people who haven't ever given one::

    1. Prepare your resume well. Only write things that you have proof that can be provided. Also, write achievements in the order that is most important according to you, and the company

    2. First question almost always is 'Introduce yourself' You will have one key area that you know lots about. This is the MOST IMP question. More often than not the HR guy will be too tired to read thru the resume. You can subtly put in keywords here

  • But what do i say if he asks my name ?

  • haha, at the beginning of the video I was like "that's a shitload of freckles!"

  • Someone just tell me in a nutshell how the GET the JOB. Thanks.

  • google Koki Belaunde (a Peruvian weird hair stylist) and you'll find the interviewer's twin brother hahahaha

  • interview in 2 hours

  • If I am honest this hasn't helped a bit

  • i have an interview tomorrow and since it's hot, i have no clue what to wear! i also haven't had an interview since october, so i'm definitely nervous! :o

  • You don't have to wear a suit for a job interview though, some employers often got tired seeing ppl coming in pretending they're like professionals. You could wear any style of form you want to a job interview as long as they don't appear inappropriate and as long as you know how to talk like you want the job something like "You know, this Teller position you guys had available really intrigue me cuz I love counting money, I know my math, and I am good in dealing with customers."

  • @kingwij aren't you a little young to work at a pub?

  • Good tips, but if you happen to be skinny and attractive and you interviewer is a fat ass woman, you are likely not to be considered for the position. Besides, why to learn the canned answers if they already know them? It would be nice to let people BE period. This formalism BS is useless.

  • @tkdwoman I so agree with you. Also if you are a goodlooking guy and there are goodlooking women working at the place you interview at, if it is a guy interviewing (that isn't gay) your chances of getting the job are slim no matter your qualifications. If it is a woman, your chances increase tenfold that you will get an offer. The same thing if your suit looks nicer on you than the interviewer's may look when they are wearing a suit. In some ways you are damned if you do, damned if you don't.

It's good thing that they explain it here at 1:00 that an applicant should still wear professional though thy're applying for a position in fashion industyr. and at 2:18, its a good tip too.
