damn art was never about the frame or ornaments around the frame,it was all about how the artist manipulated the oil colors onto the canvas,sad times change for the worst.

andy warhol's interview on youtube when asked why do you think jasper johns is great, "because he makes great lunches." this was a nice video I am glad somebody video taped it cuz I live in iowa and dont get to go big time shows like that (although johns' work has become boring and tiresome to me, and much of it sucks but "it's a Jasper Johns therefor it must be good")

thanks for the jasper johns sighting! new york must seem so different to him now, it's nice to know he still lives here (i think). new york is radically shifting to a different($) kind of city, the art(ists) are being squeezed out, except the rich ones (everyone knows that young rich emerging artists don't try as hard, BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE TO, and the art suffers). thanks for the show mr. kalm.
