This video reminds me of human life and progress. Each beat in the video the particles move as if by heart beats--it almost seems like each pulse is the collective life of one generation of humanity. Some particles are small and move individually just like most of humanity, whereas some leave long streams as they move, just like certain people leave standards behind for us to live up to. :)

See, according to Moore's Law, this would still take just over 2 hours to render in 10 years. If the computer used to render this was top-spec, the point at which real-time rendering would be possible is somewhere around 22, 23 years. But since his computer isn't quite top of the line (a top-spec today would use triple-SLI and overclock the CPU to 4 GHz), I estimated 20 years would be just enough time.
