European MTV was so much better than what it was in the US. The Europeans got to see all of these great death metal bands and what did we get on MTV here in the US? Bon Jovi and Warrant. That kind of shit is so fucking sad.

@napalmdeathfan13591 : I so agree...those bands that were popular in the US back then could hardly be called Heavy Metal at all, they were the bands teenaged girls used to listen to! If you were lucky you got to see 1 or 2 really cool death metal bands on Headbangers Ball once a week.

And I think Heavy Metal music is more accepted in Europe than in the US (just look at all the huge metal fests that happen over there every year). Here in the US the music industry is based on shitty fads & fashions.
