Sega's game is called Project Needlemouse. Needlemouse: The Emerald Hills is a fan-created game and has nothing to do with Sega. The name is a coincidence, as that's the original name for Sonic.

I have Sonic Unleashed and it's a decent game, but still, the werehog should never be unleashed again. haha I mean also why would negative energy of the chaos emeralds turn him into a werewolf creature with stretchy arms? I would have had him turn into Dark Sonic instead. =P He would have been unstable and unable to fight and hurled to earth. Then you would collect dark energy to be able to transform in the stages. ^^
