GREAT DEMO! think i'm gonna buy this overdrive/boost, boost/overdrive, overdrive/boost pedal! ;-) but i think u really have to use it with a fender/ sc-guitar. i saw some demos with lp-style guitars - the od sounded like crap on them...

That was an awesome demo. Well done! this sounds like a great pedal. Boost seems excellent, overdrive as well, but seems a bit harsh flat out.

Question- does it stack well with another overdrive? I'd like to stack it with my OCD to get a med- high gain but keep it tight and smooth, then use boost for solos.

Will this work with this pedal?

what a great pedal. probably the best pedal i've seen at the price. like getting 2 good pedals in one. i prefer the sound of this to the original rat also.

after having this pedal and trying out, if you want to play metal i would highly recommend buying a compresser also for it. mean tone.

You should be paid from MXR for doing such a good demo. Definitely, the best review for this pedal. You show everything that we need to know with a very nice and warm sound quality. Once more, thanks a lot! I didn't know which pedal to buy: germanium OD from EHX, big ben from vox or this one. Now I know xD.

Seriously Trev - that has got to be one of the best demos I have heard so far - MXR - mmmm - not where I was looking for an overdrive - this thing howls - got that lovely snarly break up happenin a bit like the Lothar and the extra boost for solos - superb - and awesome playing - you could tell you were enjoying it.
