beautiful! :) How old were you in this? Next steps from one musican to another is to lengthen your sound, rather than the spread vowel.Also dynamics can be a little more distinguished I think.. Diction and expression is lovely :D I love your vibrato :D

@16LesMiserables thank you. I must have been 17 when this was filmed. I'm 19 now. My sound has changed a bit now that I am in theater school and I'm concentrating on my voice and vocal performance and thank you for the comments about abouy my diction, expression and vibrato :-)

Nit-pick: You're singing a tad stacotto at times. Really feel the music as you sing.

Also, watch what you do with your hands, you're repeating actions.. Don't do something with your hands for the sake of having movement. =)

You saw Chris Peluso as sky! oh my gosh. i love him. he comes to wichita(where i live) some summers to be in Music Theatre of Wichita's performances. He is here now! he is playing our "Chris" in Miss Saigon. He's amazing. i love him.

someone else's story: you tend to be flat and nasally and you are rushing.

open your mouth more when you sing to get the vowels out.

use your consonants like Ds and Ts to project those vowels

the acting in this song is much more subtle. she is not happy at all in this song. her boyfriend is leaving her.

i have a dream: a better song for you.

I'm only rushing because my voice teacher told the pianist to go faster XD

I've NEVER seen Chess before or heard this song performed in the context of the show so I had no idea how the character acts...so I played it as myself singing about my crush XD

thanks...I've seen "I Have A Dream" performed by THREE different Sophies, including Carey Anderson and Brandi Burkhardt so I had a better idea for it...
