@TheClipsify Choose a bank (A, B or C) and then store it to 1, 2, 3 or 4 by pushing and holding the button. Just like a car radio. It's in the manual that comes with the amp. You get more memory positions with the Sanpera II pedal. The pedal is not cheap, but really makes it come together as a good outfit. Check out Mathias Arp's demos here on YouTube for a good impression of what can be done.
Wow...! Seriously thanks a lot GuitarGod78 ! I've been looking at Vypyr 15 demos all week and this one is the best I've seen by far ! I'm looking for a new practice amp with a wide range of tones and your review CLEARLY shows what this amp and all its amp models can do ! I'm buying this nice little thing next week, thank you ! (good guitar playing btw...!)
How do you get such a clear sound? i just got one and whenever i try to play my guitar, it is loud with static or something. Im a nooby, so i need help. please help.
I bought this amp and I'm very happy with it.Its really cheap when you compare it to marshal's Cdr and cdrfx series-but much better.IMHO its the best 15 training amp for begginers(marshals, laney's, linesixes suxk).
In all, how's the Marshall modulation? I play mostly AC/DC and Van Halen with a little Sabbath and Zeppellin. Is this the best amp for these bands or should I go with the Vox VT series?
well this is how a vypyr 30 sounds the 15 doesnt sound as good but the sound in the video is exactly how the thirty watt version sounds ive tried both and thats why im sayin
Hey deathblade7, I have played the 15watt version several times in stores and love it! I want the 30 watt also. In my opinion this is one of the best amps available in this price range. If you buy it,
make sure you test out the one your'e going to take home, extensively.
im thinking about buying this amp well, the 30-watt and want to know if its a good investment, i dont plan on playing in a big band, just for practice and playing with friends? and is it worth the money or could i get better for the price?
if you want to go for the 100 dont go for it go for the tube 60 it sounds way beter on low and high volumes, especially on the high ones, and the speaker is better and it costs about the same
i got the 75 and it's too loud i'm gonna try it with a volume modulator to try to push the amp up to get the great tone and keep the volume reasonable so the paint does'nt tear from the walls lol
There is NO such thing as TOO MUCH gain! You can always dial it backwards... Which is why I included the settings :) Lots of the sounds clean up nicely... but I don't own this amp anymore... I have a Peavey Studio Pro 112 right now... and it does the job fine for gigging small to medium venues. The Vypyr rocks though... gonna get the bigger model later!
@GuitarGod78 i love it man and your right, some people always dime their gain so they like to so actually how much the models can get, awsome demo man!!
I'm so used to stupid people making half hour videos of them talking for 99% of the time then playing for like 30 seconds and recording it with their shitty camera microphone. This is a great demo, and I'm sure you can get EVEN better tone by micing the cabinet instead of using the line out.
not too mention that he only used the second channel for one of the amp models so it actually has many more tones. I own this amp and it is great for direct recording.
With a stereo 1/8" cable directly into the line-in jack on my SoundBlaster Audigy 2 sound card. Sound was recorded in the included Reaper software, and slideshow made in Windows Movie Maker.
I tried this but I lose sound from the amp and only hear sound through my PC speakers. Is my amp broke.. Nice demo buy the way. I bought this amp and a vintage V100. It's an awesome bit of kit.
It's about time !! Thank you thank you thank you !! The best demo of the vypyr by ANYONE on youtube IMO. I come from the same school you do and have been annoyed to no end on the crappy demos of this amp. I just got the 30 and really like mine. reall nice demo dude !!!
Nope... just a stereo 1/8" out which doubles as a headphone jack. It also has a 1/8" stereo line in as well for those of you who want to hook an ipod to it for portable play-along. For $100, it is a great little recording amp for direct-in recording. It's a little brighter when using line-out, but that can be squashed vie the EQ.

@darkragnarok21 The 30 gets that nice low end crunch. Pretty meaty on the cleans, but I wouldn't say it's very fat.
