  • If you put a good sized piece of saran wrap over the chicken breast before you hit it, it'll prevent splatter and contamination.. Just a suggestion

  • Just wanted to make a quick note about rinsing your mushrooms throughly before you cook them. They are grown in maneure, and not cleaned very well when picked and packaged. I always get the pre-cleaned mushrooms from the grocery store to help minimize prep time. I hope this helps with future meals :) Hugs!!

  • Cross containator! <3

  • omg another great recipe!! i wish i had that! =D

  • Glad to see we're not the only ones who eat on the couch.

  • This dinner looks great! I cook alot and I'm gonna try this one...I usually don't follow recipes, but this one looks very worth it!!

    Hugs and MAD LOVE...

    Sheri~

  • hi jen this is so yummy my kids love it and i have made it 3 times in the past week, i have always used ritz for bread crumbs but it is awesome with the other goodies on it, and i added cream cheese and then jack on top of it today and wow that was good

thanks for the cool chicken din din

  • I felt like I went back to cooking school kindergarten. Such wacky explanations! And the worst thing is that behind all the wackiness she actually makes sense!!!!!!!

If kindergarteners watch this video, even they will be able to cook.

  • you rock!! XD

  • You continue to amaze me Jen. You are one awesome filmmaker. The speeded up parts where you were dancing or had a squeaky voice had me laughing out loud. Many people write "lol" but they really didn't laugh out loud. I did.

Where can I buy an El Crappola oven?

  • Hahaha! I don't know where you buy an El Crappola oven. Mine came with teh El Crappola apartment! Hahahaha!

  • Is this recipe your own and is it based on Chicken Parmigiana? Either way I know what I'm having for dinner, thanks Jen!

  • I modified it from one I found on a website. Hope your dinner went well! Let me know! :D

  • Tried it loved it.....hope you do some more. I can follow your recipes, but not the tv chefs lol, thanks again. One thing I still dont know how to vote in BOYTNS though!

  • Oh, go watch the latest video. It's the top one on my channel page. If you still don't understand, read the description to the right of the video.

  • thanx Jen will do, sorry im so duuummmbbb!!!!!

  • Great vid jen, I usually stay away from cooking videos I tend to have issues with them (I work as a chef). I gave a little cheer when you heated your saute pan properly for the shroomies. So you are a kick ass cook as well, some scrumptious chicken. Have a great weekend, Tom.

  • this was very funny cool video.

  • lol Jen this is the first kitchen video I got a chance to go back and see and I love it. Cant wait for the new kitchen. Btw you should bring the hubby on more he seems like a cool funny guy.

  • you know, that high pitched squirrely voice should not be listened to on headphones. its one of those sounds that feels like its vibrating through your skull. I think you gave me a brain tumour, ow :(

  • I absolutely love this! You should seriously have your own show.

  • Oh that reminds me, I'm supposed to be setting the table..

  • Okay. Thats it! Move over Rachael Ray! (Yes- Im a guy and watch the food network) Im calling the Food Network, so you can have your show on TV. Never... ever... have I learned how to cook and been so entertained! I cant wait for your next video. Johnny Luv is a lucky guy. Thanks for the hard work and videos Jen.

  • Yay! Thanks Jenno! :D

  • Yay! That's awesome! Let me know how it goes! (Oh, you might want to check the internal temperature of the chicken before serving if you oven cooks a little slower.)

  • Awesome video, great recipe! My wife has a "cheesy ranch chicken" recipe similar to this-very tasty!

    Later! :-D

  • It seems the video editing sort of got out of hand.

    But cute.

  • Wow, I never thought cooking chicken could be so easy. Ummm... dumb questions but... would it be good to cook crab meat?

  • Crab meat would probably be really good on this recipe! If you're talking about cooking actual crab meat as a recipe, it always comes pre-cooked. P.S. Check out my next video. I think you'll like it. Should be posted tonight.

  • Yeah, Im kind of a weirdo. I like artificial crab meat better than real. I eat it all the time. I'm excited to see the next video! :) OH! And I love the magic bullet infomercial.

  • It's up, girl! Check it out!

  • i love your cooking videos!! they are the reason i am subscribed!! ^_^

  • Love the show have made that chicken before you

can also use pork chops ,and i use progresso Italian style

Bread Crumbs more flavor then Ritz. It so refreshing

to see a young lady cook now days .your boyfriend /Love

is a vary lucky man ,you are so full of life and sweet

can't wait to see your next kitchen show .Thanks

  • finally! something useful (but funny) on the net:

"L'art de la cuisine de Jen" =P

It looks so simple and oh-so yummy! xD! I'm definitely going to prepare your recipe, that's for sure.

Oh, and I have to say that this is so much better than watching any cooking channel, so I'll be waiting for more recipes =P

    Mad love! =D

  • okay first fantastic video I am deff gonna make this. second i think its great when you have your man in your vids...you two remind me a lot of me and my fiance' I'm tattood and a bit intimidating looking in person and she has sort of your personality...its chuckle worthy lol

much love keep up the good work!

  • I made this tonight, but I put in onions with the mushrooms. Was very good, thank you for this video :) IT sure beat pizza, and it only took me 45 minutes to make, same time it takes to get a pizza :D

  • Yay! I'm glad you liked it! Yay! Yay! Yay!

  • Why don't you cook some breakfast some time

  • That's a very good idea! :D

  • I made this tonight, and it tasted as good as it looked :D. I put some onions in with the mushrooms, though :P. Took me about 45 minutes in all, not too bad at all, it takes a pizza that long to get here!

  • you didn't put any type of herbs or spices in it, isn't it a bit bland? i would personally add maybe some garlic powder, black pepper and a pinch of salt into the mix and even some diced garlic.

  • Actually, between the ham, the cracker crumbs, and the flavorful cheese it doesn't need anything at all! I'm big on bold flavor, so I would have added it if I thought it needed it. :p

  • awesome very cool video i find you very entertaining to watch and that recipe looks very good so i will try it sometime for supper look forward to watching more videos from you have a nice day

  • Yeeeeaaaaa, I've been waiting for another video from you -- it's cool you did the Non-stars and all but I've missed JEN videos. Great job, very entertaining. The editing was done very nicely and the speed ups were great. Sorry you don't like the poor mushrooms...mmm mmm mmmmm. Hope all is well.

  • I agree with you. I think it'll be a while before there's another NonStars. I miss making MY videos . . . Miss you, hon!

  • I just checked out ure babes site and was instantly blown away by the first pic of the dragon from "The never ending story"! Now THAT really blew my mind! Its a FANTASTIC tattoo! Great site too! Nicely done! Tell him i said this Jen babe! xxxx

  • Like i said before Jen, you are the prescription for the daily blues! One of the parts i found really funny was when you were shlapping the cooker with the bag of crackers! Another part i found funny was ure babes head popping up and looking at the chicken gettin flattened! Very good vid Jen as always. Make ure next vid sooner pleaaaasssssseeeeeeee! xxxx

  • Magic Bullet sounds like the name of a vibrator. Doesn't it? hahahaha I think so.

  • Ya know, I had a comment about that . . . it ended up on the cutting room floor when I had to trim the file size down for YouTube's limit. Doesn't suprise me that you were thinking the same thing. :D

  • you're cute and funny too

  • Very entertaining and I loved all the special effects! I'm so not a cooking person. :(

  • Jen cover your chicken with clear wrap or wax paper before you beat it so your wooden mallet doesn't get embedded with yuk.

    Mad luv!

  • your hubby's got good taste (you and tool). he must have loved ya even more after findin out you can cook like this.

  • Looks good Jen. I'll definitely try a variation on that. Side note: You should use glass for heating food in the microwave. Some studies show that heating food in plastic release Dioxins with migrate into the food. There are counter studies as well which claim there's no danger but why take the chance?

  • I edited the details of the video to include information from the FDA on this subject.

  • if only my parents would let me cook...

and also i noticed, your kitchen seems like a very violent place, i know i wouldnt want to be getting cooked in your kitchen, way to many things get beat up in your kitchen

  • Looks yummy.

  • I hate cooking shows, which isn't made by jenluv that is :) great vid!

  • I'll be over if you have extras!!!

  • every house needs a jenluv. my kitchen is deprived...

  • I'm trying my hand at cooking, and I think I'm going to try this recipe tomorrow! :D

  • Jenn, You are Inspiring!

Rachael Ray is Nice, but you are... (If you ever need a 'Rap Name' ;-) - "NICE CUBED"! Johnny is a Lucky Guy; You're Cute as a Button, Silly Crazy (rather than 'Sleep with One Eye Open' Crazy), and you put the Lovin' in the Oven with your Cookin'!

Who could ask for Anything More!

    Mad Love back atcha, -Ali-

  • I have a PT job as a cook. I don't know how I feel about this video...I'm part "that's really clever" and part "I don't cook like that" I'm kind of perplexed. I like it, 5 stars!

  • ya know what I like about your kitchen? weird things happen in it, and like mine, when weird things happen (ie weird noises whilst beating the crap out of something) no one really pays any mind because its NORMAL!

  • Awesome... thanks Jen, very entertaining and yet informative and easy enough for a simpleton like me to actually make.

  • Haha, I love how your husband didn't even look or say anything when you were making wierd noises while beating your chicken :D. Looked very good and actually easy to make, I just may make some tomorrow night :P
