@hearsageordie well I can't speak for other retailer but we only stock Voicelive 2 and its variants which are considerably more money than the T1 and R1 Combined. The voicelive 2 is £665 vs £200 or so for the T1+R1
@DallasGreen123 The pedals are really designed for live use, hence the pedal format. The TC Mics are pretty good live mics, obviously not as good as a SM58 say but still pretty decent. If you want to use something in the studio you'd be better off looking at TC Helicon racks like the new VoiceLive rack or the Voiceworks racks as they're most suited to studio use (more controllable, more flexible, more powerful)
Lee, only one question: When are you going to form a band with Rob that plays rock/blues/jazz-stuff with you both on vocals? Please give me an album release date.
awesome! no need to learn how to sing, then add virtual guitarist, have a monkey changing key, some drumloops and .......fame!
just kidding, i like monkeys! but autotune should be thrown out of the window .. learning pitch opens up character. Practice practice practice. Imagine being a big superstar using that, and then when you seduce some girl playing the guitar and sing a soft tune and her eyes crackles as you open your mouth ......... -.- gj with video though, andy kicking ass as usual ;)I
I agree but no singer hits every note dead on every time. they all use pitch correction to some degree some even live, industry standard. And I hear it everywhere (Producer's curse) i think the only folks that I know refuse to are Alicia Keys, Andrew McMahon (of Jacks' Mannequin) and Brian Fallon (Of The Gaslight Anthem)
personally i think T1 and C1 are cheating, i don't mind as much people using effects like in a studio but live is just wrong. R1 is fine, reverb is used by anyone and everyone live. I love the D1 though, great idea, although it's sort of cheating too, would be perfect for solo acoustic stufff.
@rgjmce666 The T1's features are done by the mixer board(or mic preamp). They cut or boost certain frequencies. Even though the mixer needs to be set manually, the artist themselves rarely does anything. The C1 is a bit extreme to cheat. It's more like if you want some strange sounds going on. It's no talkbox, but it could still be fun. Even if you use it for subtle correction, It's no different from using it in the studio. Still "cheating".
anybody know what songs tom was singing???

We are looking for something on the lines of this, We have I guess a oasis (as in the band) sound going on.
I'm not intrested in changing the voice, like the cher effect
But from watching this, I'd say we're going to need the "T1" and the "R1"
What my question is, Would someone like me, be better off getting a couple of these or the voice live?
Price wise, the voicelive isn't alot more. So i'm abit confused

Really interested in the reverb and the doubler! You could do some really awesome stuff with the Doubler.

@antihax91 yeah personally myself, i'd rather spend time to trying to get vocal tone rather then buying it
rgjmce666 1 year ago
@rgjmce666 You can't help some inherent properties of the microphone, or the PA speakers.
antihax91 1 year ago
@antihax91 possibly but if you have something like that, your bound to overuse it
