I see no winners or loser, jus two genius at work havin fun, but yes, lookin at this now in reflection i do kina wish boogsie was a lil more graceful in his approach toward the showcase. Toe to toe fantastic musicianship taken for granted sometimes I think. Dont want to think about it but vids like this are what we will have when giants like this pass over and their legacy lives on. More power and respect! More camarade!
@kizikyz I personally think Robbie and Boogsie as well as Earl Brooks are the top three soloist,but boogsie does some things I've never heard anyone come even close to.They do have similar styles,but when it comes to runs and syncopation Boogsie is boss.
Robbie won the clash , with overall tonal quality and control of the solo. Boogsie is a very good soloist but I find at times he strays and also he overplays the instrument. Boogsie slams the notes as opposed to Robbie who uses alot of wrist while playing. Boogsie could of at least blend the double second before he come to clash with a legend. Good stuff !!!!!!!!!
They shut Boogsie down, sounds like he dominated this shootout & the haters turned his volume down. Boogsie is a musical maniac on that second pan or any pan he gets his grips on for that matter. he uses the full range of the instrument complimenting it with juicy chord structure and fluid melodic lines..

First of all, Robbie started to run out of devices and was just reusing the same old ideas in the end...secondly, did boogsie's mic cut off?
