i'm thinking of buying this for a year long sailing trip - for photo's and video's but,,,, I'm not very techno able - how easy is it to upload video's to youtube or a website! As i'm going to be at sea most of the time i don't want to have to spend hours uploading (and i don't even know what/why people compress video's!)

Also can you explain in simple terms the difference between the video modes -! I use iMovie on my mac but when sailing will probably have a pc :-(
