contrary of what you said you already have a beautiful treasure with the Aminor Pentatonic, play with it, play with the 3rd, the 7th and the 5b,5th and 4th note, mix them thats the trick!
the backing track is from a book I have LETS BLUES THE BLUES is a blues method, but the solo is my own, I used the guitar with no distortion to produce a super clean acoustic like sound, I am learning guitar as well, guitar rocks man!!
i couldn't really understand what you were saying, but I did understand what you were playing. I literally just learned how to solo like well due to the fact that I watched where your fingers went. I was just on a pentatonic scale hunt and it helped a lot seeing you move up the frets to the octaves.

LA ESCALA PENTATONICA tiene 5 notas y se puede usar en rock & roll, ciertos rocks y algunos funks, mira las notas en LA son LA-DO-RE-MI-SOL y asi te vas buscando esas notas en todo el brazo, saludos
