@hotmr2 Yes, it works on veneer. Just tried it and now I believe in magic....and chemistry of course. Some areas didn't work quite as well but it is a really old table and some of the water marks were simply too much. Over all, with my veneer table, the surface nearly looks new now. I noticed rubbing some oil (even mayonnaise, believe it or not) into the table worked really well, and then iron it.

OMG! I Need To Give You Both BIG HUGGGS! I Have Just Done This To My Gorgeous Expensive English G-Plan Vintage Dining Room Table That Had 3 Big Nasty White Burn Marks On It And Now It Looks BEAUTIFUL! And I Am So Glad I Watched Your Video And I'm Real Grateful Too Big Smiles All Round :-)

I went to Home Depot today and they told me I had to pretty much sand my table down and re-stain it to get the white marks out. I googled "white mark on table" and gave this a shot. IT WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my table is good as new. Thank you so much for posting this.

@ezcuchame831 This is why I had to share this. When I was 14 I did this to my mothers brand new table and she was none to impressed. I paid $500 to get it fixed. If I had only known...

@hotmr2 I don't know but it would probably work. My friend fixed her coffee table the same way and it's probably veneer too. I would make a heat mark somewhere where you can't see it and then fix it and see the results. Let us know if you try it! :)

@hotmr2 Yes it works great on my veneer table but it's so old that there is just a spot or so that I can't get out.
