Classic! Although i'm sure there were a variant where at the very end when he smacks the vending machine, a can ejects at high speed right into his groin. Anyone remember it or am I hallucinating?
I actually belived it was made from girders when this commercial was out although i was only 5. I kept thinking "how can they make rust taste so good?"
Does anyone have the one where theres a guy pushing a woman on a swing and she rotates ..? The jingle was 'Well they say that love hurts, and I've got that feeling, your love leaves me black & blue, got a funny feeling you've been drinking I R N Bruuuuu!'
You know for all those that hate this commercial - I have to say, it sure brings back my childhood! And as far as I'm concerned, yeah the late '80s were kinda cheesy, but I loved it! Back then as far as I'm concerned, another song went like this "...the sun always shines on tv..." Also the era of when the film Top Gun on ITV was like watching something really new and exciting! Ah... I must've been about 9 at the time...
It was taking the mick out of the coke ads around at the same time. There was a follow-up one where the machine at the end of the ad fires a can straight into the poor bloke's groin. (wince)
This BRILLIANT ad puts those awful ones for Tango a few years ago to SHAME. Does anyone have the one where theres a guy pushing a woman on a swing and she rotates ..? The jingle was 'They say that love hurts, and I've got that feeling, your love leaves me black & blue, got a funny feeling you've been drinking I RM Bruuuuu!'

I love that bit at the end where the drinks machine headbutts the guy. They probably wouldn't allow that in an advert today.
