  • Beevis all grown up....

  • AHHAHAHAHAHA that laugh

  • Paulie shoulda been nominated so many times for his character.

  • It's a Mercedes

  • @0:20 what kind of shit fucking car is that?

  • @yortzandat You're kidding, right?

  • 4 puerto ricans vs 3 italians, Tony counts as 2 people

  • 1:55

  • So what is this, the Spanish mafia?

  • @batboyjhg They're in Florida here, so I think a Cuban Mafia?

  • @ivehearditallbefore same thing really, if cubans aren't black mixed then they re basically spaniards.

  • @devilxhlywood There are cubans that are white(mainly from spanish descent and some from Italian descent), there are also black cubansor afro-cubans (from african descent) AND Mixed Cubans, asian, indigenous etc ...like our food and music, Cuba is a multi-ethnic nation!

  • @Tusc9969 ew no wonder it's shit. Mud people, all brown shitty features.

  • @BrendanIsCool Go have another drink, mick

  • @Tusc9969 brb, having robust economy, no shanty towns, world-leading engineering and development, and of course my blue eyes, height and nice white skin.

then I'll have a guinness when I'd done.

  • @BrendanIsCool I'm sorry, but Ireland and robust economy do not belong in the same thought, unless you've paid absolutely no attention to the news in the last 4 years. Like I read your comment and instantly went to look at where you're from, and broke out laughing.

  • @Adjudicator You cannot into economics, can you?

  • @BrendanIsCool I'm assuming you mean "be into economics," and since that's one of the most vague ways of phrasing a question, given the scope of what "being into" something and "economics" entails, I will do my best to answer it succinctly and say I've simply paid attention to the global financial crisis starting in 2008, and observed the catastrophic effect it's had on Ireland, one example being the increases in your unemployment rate.

  • @Adjudicator this your first time on the internet?

    >poland ball cannot into space

    >you cannot into economics

  • @BrendanIsCool Are you just stupid or supremely adept at playing an idiot?

  • @batboyjhg what happened to the shuffleboard mafia. they expanded from the retirement villages in the 80 to all parts of Fla.

  • @batboyjhg

What the fuck would Spaniards be doing there?

  • @Urindunk what an ignorant tool!

  • Gotta love "Paulie Walnuts", the guy's all balls!

  • love how he pinches his cheek and slaps his face

  • So everybody come tonight except Charo? lol

  • which season is this episode on??

  • ".. Heh Heh..." Paulie's "Tourette synrome" :D

  • only Paulie could frown and laugh at the same time

  • Say what you want about Paulie being a ballbreaker and a loudmouth, but he's as hard as they come and with balls of steel.

  • @grapisavillain He's from the old school

  • Tony goes Woe oh oh oh.....GOD DAMMIT!!!

  • thats how u act when u dont care if u die

  • 1:51 far away from OK "heh heh"

  • 1:23 You can see Paulie glance over just to keep his eye on the group of guys.

He doesn't seem to let his guard down at all.

  • paulie=attack dog

  • heh heh

  • paulie has no social tact

  • Paulie is like: "you're lucky Tony is here"

  • @ame7272 He'd sound more like "Yu'r locky ton is heeeer"

  • Heh Heh! hahahahahahxD

  • BALLS

  • So everyone come tonight except Charo? or "chair-o" in paulie speak....I love it!

  • *cheek pinch*

    *slappy slap*

    Heh heh.

  • @KarlSalameh lmao I like when he does that and says Heh Heh it cracks me up everytime lol

  • @nywarlord87

tony thought "heh-heh" was a nervous tick (tourettes) when they were on the boat

  • paulie may have many faults.... but who better to be in the trenches with?

  • @samdogmc12 Paulie has the biggest balls no doubt.....but for shear intimidation and the psycho factor I'll take Richie Aprille with his manson lamps.

  • @HeFilmsTheClouds yeah absolutely.... that ice cold stare.... you tell it was no joke with that guy

"you got a short memory beansie"

  • @samdogmc12 Yeah, just a shame he got killed by that bitch Janice. I probably hated her more than any other character.

Tony - "I thought I told you to back the fuck off Beansie."

Richie - "I did, then I put it in drive." LOL, Richie was the shit.

Honorable mention goes to Furio Giunta. Any man who has long hair, wears those shirts with red leather pants and still comes off as a badass is probably not worth pissing off.

  • @HeFilmsTheClouds i couldn't stand janice either, hands down the worst character in the show

paulie " your gonna build beansie a ramp"

richie "i'll build a ramp up to ur ass... maybe drive a lionel up in there"

who else could talk to paulie like that and get away with it? i think feech la manna is worth a mention too, he had that extreme angry thing going on. like he could just snap and destroy you in a second

"you want me to fuck off? how bout i fuck off all over ya stupid fuckin face!!!"

  • @samdogmc12 The two fellas you mentioned didn't stick around long though, did they?

  • @lowmazda626 yeah i know, i watched the whole series too.

  • @samdogmc12 don't forget Ralph also talked shit to Paulie. Ralph was a psycho.

  • @samdogmc12 Probably two best characters of the show, Richie and Feech.

  • So everybody comes tonight except Charo?

  • 1:55 "HE HE"

  • I love it how paulies brain is still in the 1950's

  • I think another way to look at this scence is what the cuben gangsters must see at first. One old guy with funny hair and some fat bald guy. It also shows how far the mob has fallen. Look at the cubens face when tony mentions pool toys and french shampo.

  • LOL @ 1:58. That's actually James Gandolfini laughing, not Tony Soprano.

  • 1:51 HAHAHAHAAH

  • Comment removed

  • paulie has balls, he'd take on the whole crew of those guys with out hesitation..I loved it when he tapped the guy on the face like a little boy... hahaha

  • ok so how did pauly "impress" tony?

  • @SickMade187 Tony had lots of doubts about Paulie at this time, but in that situation it showed Tony that in a pinch Paulie is fearless and he'll stand by him ... it probably saved Paulie's life when Tony came close to deciding to wacking Paulie at the end of the episode in the fishing boat.

  • I speak spanish, and I couldn't understand a word that came out of Ramon's mouth. Did he actually say anything, or was he just emulating the sound of spanish as best as he could?

  • "heheh"

  • How do we know that Tony is "impressed" by Paulie?

  • @79Testo

I got it from the look at the end

  • @79Testo

I think he brings it up with Sil later in the episode.

  • who's ramon?!

  • I know the show centers around Tony, so obviously Tony has to be more "hands-on". Otherwise, well, it would be boring to see a Johnny Sac-like character who just walks around all day smoking cigarettes and giving orders. But generally speaking, Bosses have earned their right to sit back, get envelopes and call the shots from the back. Bosses will not meet with strangers--especially different racial/cultural gangs--to negociate low level shit like swag and expired Viagra pills.

  • Charo!!!...HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!...Paulie was my favourite....

    Coochie-Coochie Coo!!!!

  • WHO'S RAMON?!!!! LOL LOL

  • @Maddingo12

That's the beauty about Tony. He's not afraid to get his hands dirty, he even enjoys it on occasion. One episode him and Christopher robbed a couple of bikers, very petty but he enjoyed every second of it. IMO I have more respect for him because he handles things so personally.

  • I don't understand why a made guy of Tony's status (Boss) is going around, driving all around and making these deals himself. You would think that a boss would want to insulate himself from being directly involved in these kind of criminal dealings... he could send one of the other guys and just collect back home from the deal.

  • @maddingo12 Weren't they in the middle of nowhere in Florida? It's not like the FBI even knew where he was--they were lamming it while the feds dug up the first guy Tony killed.

Anyway, what you see here is a negotiation--that's why Tony is the don. He carries more respect than anyone in Jersey and won't get bullied in the deal. Send in Benny Fazio for negotiations and he'll get taken for a ride.

  • I disagree. Benny Fazio represents Tony and Jersey wherevever he goes... Florida or Canada or wherever. A made guy is a made guy and has respect when dealing with other families or criminal groups... for a boss to make low level deals and negociate truck loads or expired prescription drugs...that's just cheap and shows that Jersey lacks manpower. You would never see a boss do that low level shit. Jersey is a much smaller family.

  • @maddingo12 When Chris tried to get in on a negotiation, he was told "I remember when you used to wait in the car." These guys break balls--unless you're talking to the don. That's why you don't send in lower level guys to do deals. Even so, I remember Tony sending Paulie and Sil to enforce a deal with the Jewish motel guy, so it does happen.

This is more of a negotiation. They were in the middle of nowhere in Florida. Tony wouldn't get caught. He wasn't busy. Send in the Don.

  • We are not talking about two Cosa Nostra families negociating here-- boss to boss or capo to capo. We are talking about dealing with some Spanish whatever gangers group to get better deals on hijacked goods. Why does the Don of a family have to drive down to Florida to meet with a bunch of stranger Latinos? Tony could of sent Artie Bucco and they would of respected him because he represented the Soprano family in Jersey. The Latinos don't know the ranks of the mobsters they are dealing with..

  • @maddingo12 he did not go down strictly to meet with those guys... he went south while the feds were investigating a murder he did about 25 yrs prior

  • @maddingo12 that is precisely the reason y phil and johnny sac didnt view them as a family but a "glorified crew". but for a glorified drew they really wrecked havoc on the Lupertazzis who boasted of over 200 soldiers

  • Wreaked havoc on the Lupertazzis? They killed one guy...Phil. And only because the rest of the family gave him up because the whole war was pointless. Tony lost Silvio, Bobby and a shit load of business to New York...some Jersey guys were scared shitless and kicking up to New York so they wouldn't get killed. Tony was losing serious money during that war whereas the Lupertazzis had the bigger war chest and could of kept on going if they wanted to...

  • @maddingo12 ..New Jersey may have only killed Leotardo, but New York gave him up to Tony to stop what they knew was coming, and he was the Boss..Butchie knew better. It wasn't about bodies as much as it was about cash-flow

  • Paulie is really stereotypical mafia guy. Patting the guys cheek, he's the man!

  • Paulie has a temper and when you have one nothing matters to you

  • it's so realistic, paulie glances over at 1:25 just to make sure he has his eyes on the group of guys.

It is quick but if you look you will see it.

  • Paulie is fearless.

  • love paulie's laugh 1:55

  • do we look like fuckin UPS..viva lolol..

  • Paulie

  • Tony is impressed or whatever you want to call it that Paulie just goes right out on 5 guys and talks shit. At 1st Tony was just like o shit cause he knew he had to go with him to keep it civil.

  • air mattress, pool toys wtf! oh yeah im sure there's lots of money in that compared to grade A power tools!

  • @Gambino199 haha, they want a long term relationship!

  • so what everyone show up except CHARO lol

  • What the fuck are you talking about? Tony is not impressed by Paulie he's only further disgusted by him with this. In this whole episode he was annoyed by him constantly talking and was bitching to silvio earlier about it. This just showed how immature Paulie is and the desperate things he'll do to win tony's approval. Tony looks at him at the end when they're walking back to the car like wtf?

  • @SolaNobilitatVirtus You are totally wrong. Tony was impressed with Paulie during this scene and that was the entire point. It was to create controversy in his mind over any future decision he had to make with regards to Paulie which contrasts with the rest of the episode.

  • He he

  • I'm a native Spanish speaker and what Ramon said to Esteban sounded like unintelligible jibberish. I figured it was maybe because they're Cuban, but then when Esteban spoke, I understood him perfectly. Esteban said "After the 12th, any day after the 12th".

  • tony's face at the end (1:57) says it all.

  • Paulie is an absolute legend. I didn't like he over a few of the scenes with Chrissy but he puts five blokes in their place here with a pinch of that geezers cheek. Legend.

  • haha.

i love paulie's little laugh at the end.

  • Paulie doesn't give a fuck

  • Paulie is one of my favourites, his genous behavour is always a pleasure to watch!

  • heh heh XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

  • Whatever happened to the Webistics business, anyways?

  • haha - tony get sealed powertools - probably riped off right from the warehouse & shipped to him and he gives 'em back some fuckin air matresses and shampoo

hahaha wtf - I love the business deals in they come up with in this show......

    Waabistics was another great one

  • Heh heh

    XD

  • "Do we look like fuckin' UPS??" -*lol*-

  • I love this clip because it shows how the character Tony is able to be an effective negotiator and peacekeeper without arrogance. Notice how he calms a potentially volatile situation with a good outcome, despite hostility from both sides. Very significant clip when it comes to this show in understanding Tony Soprano's psyche.

  • Yeah but that contrasts with his hair-trigger temper, which tends to seriously fuck up his personal and professional life.

  • @hschan4, true but note that when it comes to money, Tony will be the peacekeeper/negotiator/politician - When it comes to anything else, e.g. Whores or those reporting to him, he lets fly and does what he wants because inevitably it doesn't affect his income nor impact on him negatively (in his opinion)

  • @furb393 your overthinking it.

  • @benyblancofrmthabrnx - This is my interpretation of it, which is what David Chase, Steve Buscemi and all the writers/producers/directors wanted viewers to do when watching this show - You can love the show as simplistically as cheering for the good guys vs the bad guys or you can look at the show as an insight into the psyche of a sociopath or even as an interpretation of organised crime's inner circles and insecurities. That was why this show was so popular, because of the different levels

  • @furb393 i thought it was about family (inner family and extended family) and dealing with their BS. that's why i was able to connect to it. my whole family is legit, but there's a tony, a chrissy, a paulie, a silvio, a janice, a meadow and an AJ in my extended family. the personality traits are just right on.

many movies/tv series try to create this family. but other than the simpsons and the sopranos, nothing has ever worked for me.

it's all about family. la famiglia. eh? ;)

  • @furb393 don't forget that the series is called "The Sopranos" (ie: a family name). so even if you don't buy my argument, the series name ought to set it straight for you. :)

  • @thelonedissenter - You're argument correlates with mine, i.e. The producers leaving the show open to interpretation and appealing to a very wide audience on different levels. No arguments from me paisan'

  • @furb393 i cheer for the mobsters, for the sopranos, civilians like you are cocksuckers

  • @nicouqz LMAO Another jrilla1879 - Must be great being a gangster, so are you the direct descendant of Carlo Gambino?

  • @furb393 nice to know another person who watches the show enjoys the writing and the intricacies of the characters. The writing made the show and they got good enough actors to enlighten that

  • @furb393 I'll go with the latter interpretation. The people who watch it just to see somebody get killed have no appreciation for what the show is all about, I think even David Chase has expressed annoyance with these types of fans.

  • i love paulie's laugh at the end.

  • I went poopy...

  • 1:56 paulie looks like Leprachaun

  • We should report this JRilla douche nozzle to YouTube. We could.. I dunno, report all the messages (and there's enough) where he is threatening to kill people on here. Threatening people on the web is usually dealt with by law enforcement.. They identify who it is, and pursue it. And just so you know, JRilla, the NAT service on your parent's broadband router only changes your internal IP to your external. You're still tracked and identified. Moron.

  • lmao u take that little boy seriously?

hes talking shit online for a reason, cause he is too scared to do it in person... ignore the prick who loves to use soprano lines

  • This guy's incorrigible lol

  • you should seem him on The Wire videos, goes on about how Dukie's a 'bitch', talks about how great money is made from drugs and gangs, and how he'd break into homes, kill the entire family, steal and sell off everything, and that it was straight business.

Real stupid, real crazy, or just some 12 year old basement dweller that likes to piss people off.

  • just tell him to fuck off man FORGET AT BOUT YE

  • gangster

  • paulie's strong as a bull and he's lik 60. he'd probably whoop everyone's ass in the soprano crew.

  • Paulie was never a "big picture" guy but he was useful. I can see where, for Tony, it would be advantageous having a guy like Paulie with you that's known as/proves himself to be a psycho that might turn violent given any provocation.

  • it is hilarious to look at comments on videos and there is alwas 2 idiots gettin personel arguments over nothing about the vid LLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLl
